Yoo Seung-ho is only fifteen, but already he’s played a king twice: first, as Bae Yong-joon‘s younger counterpart in Legend, and now in the upcoming Queen Seon-deok.
Yoo Seung-ho aside, I just think this is a beautiful photo — the contrast, the colors, the clarity. Also, this drama sure has a gorgeous look to its costuming and design, as we can see from all the pre-release photo shoots and posters.
With the popular Queen of Housewives just ended this week — today’s finale episode topped out with a 31.7% rating — Queen Seon-deok will be taking over as MBC’s newest series next Monday, May 25.
In this series, Yoo plays the son of Princess Cheon-myung (Park Ye-jin), who later becomes King Tae-jong Mu-yeol. Yoo Seung-ho will begin appearing from Episode 20.

Maybe it’s the ‘King’ costume but I didn’t think he looked 15. I do hope he doesn’t get stuck just playing the same roles – since he has played King 3 times. From the intensity on his face, it looks like he can be a good actor – I have to admit I have not watch any of the movies he has starred in.

the costuming is beautiful for this drama! i’m probably not going to watch it (going into a jdrama phase now), but will definitely look up screencaps from this drama for a dose of costume eye-candy. i agree with coolsmurf, Yoo seung-ho is definitely king material! I loved him in Legend!
