Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo, appearing together in Japan for a Winter Sonata-related event? Will the Tokyo Dome be able to contain the excitement?
Choi’s management announced on June 23 that the pair would appear at a special event in Japan on September 29 in advance of the Japanese broadcast of the animated Winter Sonata. Both actors lent their voices to dub the project, reprising their characters Joon-sang and Yu-jin from the 2002 original.
The event will take place at Tokyo Dome, and also be broadcast live via satellite into theaters nationwide to an overall audience of about 50,000.
Choi Ji-woo explained of the animated project, “The plot is basically similar to the original drama, but it has its own unique flavor and a fairy-tale-like feel.” The animated series will broadcast in both Korea and Japan this fall.
Bae Yong-joon will be pulling double-duty; the very next day, at the same venue, he will hold an event celebrating the publication of his book, Korea’s Beauty (working title).

Don’t worry. This will be the swan song for WLS. Twins? You need eyedrop to clear your vision. BYJ has every right to keep or cut his hair. He is not asking you to pay for his hair cut. I am not a fan of Choi Ji Woo or Bae Yong Joon but there’s something wrong with BYJ . He looks more feminine each day. I have a sneaky suspicion that either he’s gay or he’s transexual. I liked his old look better. Choi Ji Woo does look older but her look hasn’t drastically changed since Winter Sonata, same hairstyle and hair color.
So now it’s a battle between CJW vs BYJ fans??!!! The pot calling the kettle black!

I’m not a fan of both, but after reading some of the comments, have to say BYJ fan like yoon should be ashamed of yourself. I can clearly see BYJ winkles during 2002 winter sonata. He’s already 30 at that time and the winkles around his eyes are obvious when he smile. Of the four actors and actress who play high school students. He’s the obvious one that stands out the most.
Yes BYJ might be be the richest korean actor today. But then CJW is wealthy too, I remembered reading she donating money yearly and doing good deeds. It’s really funny and silly to say she badly need need publicity to upgrade her wealth. Wake up kid, they are just collaborating for winter sonata animation. It’s a special project related to the drama which have made them famous throughout Asia. They are thankful to the fans and are willing to collaborate for many fans after 7 long years.

I’m a fan winter sonata and have to say , I saw many recent photos of BYJ and he does look very old , definitely older than cjw who is 3 years younger than him.The photo which he is wearing a suit is being shown again and again. His skin is so dry in the photos and look haggard.
