Princess Ja Myung drama was cut due to unexplainable reasons. This is a very well organized and written drama that moves the audience emotions. All the characters played their part so well that the audience is disappointed with the sad ending. Ryu Jung's performance has won the hearts of many. Her fans sincerely looking forward to another great drama. She is Korea's diamond.

Everyone's complaining about the "slow" introduction with child characters, but that's why it struck a chord in my heart at the end. It was necessary, because the characters were pretty complex and morally questionable at times. That's why you had to understand their past to understand their present decisions. For example, we see how Prince Hodong was abused by his stepmom in the past and why he HAD to become king to know why he would be cruel enough to manipulate Lahee to destroy Nakrang.... And the similar sad pasts of Hodong and JaMyung (Puku) allowed us to understand why they truly loved each other, rather than Hodong loving Lahee...

Anyways, the child character introduction were really important. I felt the complexity of the characters brought them to life for me. There were no one "Good guy" vs "bad guy" and we could understand and sympathize with all of the characters, even Hodong's stepmother, Song Maeseolsu, for her actions, however cruel they were. In the end, I appreciated all the characters and though the ending was beautifully executed. Loved It!!

***********SPOILERS WARNED************ >-P

Neeeeh....disappointed indeed. If I knew that the end was like that, I wouldn't watch it. I should have read the sypnosis in "Dramawiki" that says clearky "self-destruction". Ja Myung survived for what? For nothing. At least, she would have saved her country and then, it would have been okay that both the prince and Puku (Ja Myung) died. But nooooo...everything remain lost and all what they really loved are dead or all that they really cared dies along with it.

All this hope so that the end remains in vain. What's the message from all of this? That love is not powerful. If love is expressed, it becomes negatif. And if the feeling of love is controlled, it becomes death.

Here, the cruelty wins in material things.

Perhaps as in spiritual won. After all, only death is allowed the "true love" and virtuous people (if it were against upon the cruelity).

So, in that story line, fate is considered important while it should be faith that should have considered important. Once negatif fate is in track, they'll believe that that's their destiny and that they should follow it.

Faith can also be considered negatif too but it should've been stronger than the fate. That's what that the "movie" disappointed me greatly.

When Jamuk said...dammit, I forgot, but he somewhat said that fate is entangled with humanity, that both can't be controlled one another. They follow each other (in his last words with Puku). There, I was hoping that Puku would notice that IF fate don't controlled humanity, then she should have FAITH in herself that she can make FATE to follow her. That she can make changes in a positif way.

It would be more interesting that once she's faced what fate "told her", she would become more stronger in many ways by changing her fate. Perhaps not getting everything she wanted but close with it. Like I said up there, that at least, saving Nakrang would be awsome and that she would die afterward.

Humanity is also a balanced between virtuous and nefarious. Some people have high virtuous and others very low. It means, we have the capacity to be one or the other. But we shouldn't forget the wicked part because afterwards, the prejudice will come along. What I am saying here that the virtuous people have to be more stronger than the cruelity and always be aware of it. The "movie" did become stronger for a little time (virtuous), but there was always cruelty around and won and yet again, the virtuous still is alive. In the end, they let the cruelty won. "Let".

So here, the message, yet again that blocking the feeling and being wicked is very powerful because suffering will end up dead.

I think, and I have to admit, that the true humanity was Lahee and the prince (there are some more examples too). Gullable Lahee was... but all the emotions she had was true: All the negatif and positif. She indeed, followed her heart when she should have followed her head too, like the prince.

I don't blame both of them. While Puku is made something that's not humanity, they made her something lame in the end. Very disappointed once again.

It's very mysterious that we don't know what happens once a person die. Netherland, reincarnation; This spiritual beliefs they had in this movie.

Self-Destruction indeed but a self-destruction that should be worth it. And what's worth it? I think, having FAITH in something beautiful they want to believe should won, and not fate.

It was frustrating and lame movie. lol :-p

Thanks for reading.

I think the story had potential, but too bad they dragged it in "children phase". The ending is beautiful, i like how they end it. I`m so gonna miss this drama.

And I love Jung Kyung Ho`s performance, i think he did a good job potraying Prince Ho Dong, because it`s not an easy character, despite all the wrong doing, he`s essentially a kind-hearted man...so there`s love and hate with this character. I`m looking forward for his next project.
