yea, ive heard rupert grint also got swine flu, but he already recovered from it. All they need is to treat the flu and in a few days they will be cured.

I am really anticipating to watch this drama. But now feel sad that the production crew caught the Swine Flu. Hope they get a lot better then continue with the drama when they can.

Ah…for a second there, I thought I was looking at the East of Eden poster. What is up with the obvious copycat job? I mean, at least with the EOE poster, I got to look at Song Seung Heon!

Agreed. The swine flu is just as bad as the regular flu – however, when the World Health Organization goes out to issue its warning and the media grabs hold, and what ensued was a huge “freaking out” of the public mass. The problem too, lies with uneducated masses who equate “epidemic/pandemic” with “lethal disease.” The word “epidemic” or “pandemic” in reality only describes how fast the disease spreads. Swine flu spreads quickly but isn’t lethal – that’s why they close down areas to prevent more people from getting sick. We could have a regular cold pandemic if we wanted – it’d just mean more people getting runny noses.

Not sure though if whatever pharmaceutical company that manufactures flu vaccines is making a fortune.

What a year…disaster seems befalling upon us these days; global economic crisis, death of MJ, Swine Flue…depressing. In our city 2 universities closed down because of swine flu. Though the government is taking necessary action and campaign still, it is just around the corner. What an irony when it comes to this ordinary people and the rich and famous are in equal footing.
