I love the show and think Henney’s character is very well portrayed. Give the show a chance before you blow if off. we should support shows with Korean actors and plus it’s filmed in my hometown….LOL

I hope it finds it’s niche… Don’t be so quick to judge… Hospital dramas are always going to be around because they are exciting places to be around with lots of potential story lines. Let’s give it some time….

I hope Henney’s acting is better. I never watched all of My father because I was embarrassed for him because of his acting. I’m probably going to check it out, just for him, but man, there are way to many cop and hospital dramas in the…world.

gotta admit that i’m a sucker for grey’s anatomy (though the sleeping around is a little too much) but i’m not sure how this is going to add a different slant to medical dramas. plus, i agree that the dialogue doesn’t feel quite right…it’s like they didn’t want to seem overly dramatic but still come across as so and the major theme about second chances is really…repetitive. but who can tell from a preview, right? i’ll watch it if the reviews are good.

in any case, i’m happy for daniel henney and hope it goes well.

I’ll watch ’cause I love medical shows. Even though Daniel Henney’s acting has been hard to watch at times, he truly seems much improved on this show. He truly makes me want to watch out of curiosity. Go him!

i’m watching for Alex O’Loughlin, i LOVED Moonlight.. was so unhappy when it got cancelled. cried buckets when the DA was killed.. didn’t care for the lead lady tho.. the Henney factor is just a plus for the eye candy-ness. i’ll be watching CBS Sunday.. at least the first ep..

seems like a bit of a 2pm ‘doctors’ (for anyone in the UK- you’ll know what I mean) cheese fest but for channel 4.

oh well, it’s still good for asian actors to get out there and be on tv no matter how ‘european-looking’ or whatever!

CBS is looking for a hit medical series of their own, hence Three Rivers.

The promo posted here is based on the original pilot that was shot in Pittsburgh this spring. The network has since built a beautiful high tech hospital set in Hollywood at Paramount, and completely reworked the first episode. The producers have listened to the critics and are shaping the show to be more appealing.

There will be a screening of the new show at the Paley Center on September 11th, and cast members will also be present to answer questions from the audience.

To me Three Rivers is a refreshing change from all the other medical shows and it has a great cast, to which Alfre Woodard was recently added. And of course, Alex O’Loughlin is a wonderful actor. I can’t say that I’m familiar with Daniel Henney, but he’s easy on the eyes and is sure to gain some more fans!
