I am not a huge fan of Tablo or KHJ, but for some reason, I adore these two together. There is just something about them. Maybe it's because of the honest expression on KHJ's face when she saw Tablo with flowers on hand to greet her during her movie premiere? Or the cute pictures they always post on their respective minis? Or maybe it is best explained in the 2 pictures used for this article? The sweet glares that they give each other are simply full of sincerity. I can't root against them. Congrats ^.^

I saw Tablo's tweet first so I immediately checked the Korean entertainment blogs I read. The baby news came as a surprise, but I wish both of them well and a healthy pregnancy for Kang Hyejung.

I know there's clash of cultural values, but other actresses like Moon So Ri and Jeon Do-Yeon have also bared it all in various movies. I don't think either is considered "loose." Sex in Korean movies is generally more frank than in matching American fare.

I agree that Tablo and Kang Hye-jung would be hipster-ish in South Korea. But I think that's besides the feelings they have for each other. As I see it, the fact that neither really tried to hide their relationship (and both are relatively private about their love lives) suggests that they kinda knew that this was the one.

How nice that the real life of Miss Kang is turning out so nice. I enjoyed her performance as the simple-minded, happily dancing pixie Yeo-il in Welcome to Dongmakgol. The film's sad ending still haunts me to this day, though. Congrats to the couple and best of luck to them and their baby in the future.
