I have enjoyed HTTG. Hope they don’t cut it like they did with Strike Love which I also enjoyed. I am a big fan of Lee Beong Hyun so I did watch Iris. Well I have to say I was bored with the first episode. Didn’t hold my interest as much as Swallow The Sun’s first episode. I will give it a few more viewings.

Well, i saw a snippet of iris & its really good!

anyways im currently into You’re beautiful. The characters & story lines goes really well.And its really funny too. Can’t wait to watch ep 4. I didn’t know Jung Yong Hwa is from Cn blue , a new krn group! He acts really well & he’s cute too. He is so sweet in the drama…

As for heading to the ground, i really pity yunho . His acting is still a bit stiff & need more improvement but i find the show a bit dry. And its his first drama debut. Hope he will do better.

I just hope DBSK will continue to release more great music. I Miss them..

24.5% for the first episode of IRIS is absolutely incredible. That’s a lot higher than even my most optimistic expectations. Just to show how impressive the ratings are, let’s compare the first episode of the top 3 rated dramas of 2009:

Sons of Sol Pharmacy 17.8%
Brilliant Legacy 16.9%
Queen Seon Duk 16.0%

And the last k-drama that averaged 40%+ and peaked at over 50% — Jumong — had a modest 16.3% for its opener.

Of course, no one knows whether IRIS can improve on its amazing beginning, or even sustain this kind of performance, but there’s no doubt it couldn’t have gotten off to a better start.

It would be really bad if they cut HTTG too. Is it me or does it feel like almost 3 dramas in a row? If they keep this up, their reputation is going to suffer. I don’t know many management companies that would like their actors attached to an MBC production.

To be honest, I’m quite sick of all the negativity aimed at HTTG. I understand that the first 2 episodes weren’t great, and 3 + 4 were only so much better, and 5+6 only highly entertaining by the crazy mental hospital scenes. However, it’s really not THAT BAD! Also, the story seems to getting and better and more stable. Sorry, I just feel there’s so much unnecessary hate towards the show.

I dunno maybe it’s my bias towards Yunho, but I don’t think it is. I think it might be more the fact that I can sympathize with Cha Bong Goon’s character and the way he feels and what’s happened to him.

I just hope Yunho doesn’t get a bad rap because of this because his acting really has improved.

Anyway, I’m gonna keep watching and enjoy where the story line goes. (:

I actually enjoy watching Heading to the Ground .
Yunho’s acting is .. eh but it’s pretty .. interesting.
Kinda draggy.. but I don’t want it to end EARLY .
Though truthfully i’m enjoying You’re Beautiful alot more .
Haven’t watched IRIS yet .. will wait for subs .. but as far as the ratings go .. I think it’ll keep me interested .

does anyone know what the rating trend was like for LBH’s All In drama? i’m wondering if that one also started off as strong as this one…
