Jung Il-woo cameos on High Kick Through the Roof

It was announced at the start that High Kick Through the Roof, the sitcom sequel to 2006’s very popular Unstoppable High Kick, would feature cameos from the cast members of the original, which is a show to which its young up-and-comers largely owe their current success (they are Jung Il-woo, Kim Bum, Kim Hye-sung, Park Min-young). High Kick Through the Roof featured an appearance from Kim Hye-sung right off the bat in its first episode, and the next cameo falls to Jung Il-woo, who played Kim’s younger brother in Unstoppable.
With this appearance, Jung will play the first love of university student Hwang Jung-eum. Jung was initially scheduled to appear in Episode 31, but that has been pushed back to Episode 35. However, due to the Korean Series (baseball championships), the actual airdate is yet unclear.
A rep from Chorokbaem Media, the series’ production company, said, “Jung Il-woo will shoot his portion in the middle of this week. However, the results of the Korea Series may result in a postponed broadcast so it is difficult to announce when his portion will air.”
High Kick Through the Roof is performing strongly, and although I don’t think it has yet reached the levels of popularity that its predecessor had, there’s still a lot of time for it to pick up steam. I had intended to keep an eye on this show and got very behind, but I caught the first two episodes and found it cute and watchable.

Nobody has commented on this darling boy? Just look at his sweet face! Makes me want to go watch some Return of Iljimae clips. Or hug him.

So I started watching the "Return of Iljimae" several days ago and will be watching episode 21 tonight (marathoning because I couldn't stop)...
...and I click on Dramabeans and find JIW looking back at me and I have to say he looks just "fine" and yes, that is an understatement to say the least! ;) Wow!
ROI ranks right up there as my favorite drama this year (and definitely in my top 5 ever) along with "City Hall!"

I didn't really see Jung Il-woo's appeal either until Return of Iljimae, but I absolutely adore him now. He can say more with his eyes than a lot of actors can with pages of dialogue. I was so wrong about him, I don't mind admitting it at all!
I don't think My Fair Lady did him any favors (nor for the rest of the cast, for that matter), but he's young and talented, so I think we have a lot to look forward to from him in the future.

for me ,he's absolutely attract me since I watch Unstoppable Highkick
he's very cute , good news that hearing he'll be cameos on High Kick

I've just finished watching episode 35...can't help falling tears
The story is so beautiful like a fairytale and I'm lost in his pure smile again.
But it's so painful to see 'his' death without informing his girlfriend...sigh...
Wish to see him soon in other activities ^^

I've been watching High Kick 2 and while Jung Il Woo is not in it :( , high kick 2 is a much better show than high kick 1 ever was. The storylines, the acting, the overall feel of the show = much much better!
I'm sad to see it go unnoticed. It deserves much more attention!
