Lee Junki as a nightclub waiter in Hero

Lee Junki may be playing a reporter in the new MBC drama Hero, but in these stills, he’s playing the part of a nightclub waiter. (The articles don’t specify why, but I suspect he is undercover.)
A source from the production said, “Lee Junki is so slick as he acts the role that the staff has joked back and forth with him about whether he used to work at a nightclub. It should be entertaining watching him show various sides to the Do-hyuk character, the ‘passionate reporter,’ as he transforms into a fun, oddball waiter.”
Another source said, “The staff and actors are all working hard at all hours of the night. We anticipate that the passionate work of the Hero team will heat up the drama as well. We hope that the viewers will look forward to watching.”
Hero, which also stars Kim Min-jung and Eom Ki-joon, will broadcast a week earlier than originally scheduled. Due to the cutting of Heading to the Ground, it premieres on November 11.

Will probably check this out but no high expecations.
Happy Junki, I’m totally on board. I think with low expectations, we’ll all be pleasantly surprised.
Can’t wait to see it. But right now, concentrate w/ IRIS. Love it! : )
IRIS and HERO are on my list!!!!!!! Can’t wait. Where can I watch IRIS with subtitles? The last time I checked, viikii didn’t have it up yet.
@D.. are you sure? I watched it on vikii like two days ago.. they had it up the day it was aired and the second episode is also there now…
can’t wait to see lee junki on screen again.. i’m watching this one just for him ^_^
he looks so cute in this clothe. can’t wait to see it ^^
i know Iris now get high rating but it doesn’t matter to me… i will watch this for leejunki. and hope more vierwers anticipipate Hero too. i think the drama would be good and interesting by itself although MBC doesn’t promote it enough. Rating is important. Anyway, TBDAW also didn’t get good rating as MBC expected but viewer response is great as well. i hope Hero can be like that.
did they change the leading girl?
LJK is really a very versatile actor! Loved him since The King and the Clown and Time between Dog and Wolf. He’s eye-candy for me anyways!
I feel nervous about this show. Will it be another one of those “professional love” kind of stories like Partner (lawyer love) or that one with reporters and Ju Jin Hee? I found both of them underwhelming and could barely get through the first episodes. So far, it sounds like normal, boring even, nothing-stands-out kind of story.
I guess after seeing Junki in two great shows, the lovely My Girl and the brilliant Time Between Dog/Wolf, I wonder how I will deal with him in a mediocre storyline.
But then, he is beautiful enough that I would watch him in anything.
I am looking forward to see this show. Can’t wait to see again the best actor Lee Jun Ki. He is so talented !!!!!!
ANOTHER HOTTIE TO WATCH FOR
)
WAHAHAHAHA…
I LOVE LJK!!! WAHAHAHA…
I’d watch anything w/ LEE JUN KI in it.I’m addicted to him.I’ll definitely watch “HERO” and can’t wait till its premier on Nov.11.
Since I laid eyes on him in TODAW,I’ve become his avid fan.I’ve lost interest in watching other K-dramas because the other actors pale in comparison to LJK,whom I think is incomparable!Never seen the likes of him.He is the best thing that ever happened to South Korean screen industry. He is simply the best and the most good looking Korean actor.Whatever the critics say about this drama,I don’t care and I’m not interested about the story line either.I just want to watch my “HERO” Jun Ki do his excellent acting and feast my eyes on him.I know and I believe that he’ll be good in this drama.I couldn’t ask for more…
Ganbatte Oppa!I’ll be here for you always…
LOVE YOU TO BITS(●^o^●)
I’m looking forward to watch this drama!!
last I saw of him was Dog and Wolf, so I don’t have high expectations for this drama.
Anything with Lee Jun Ki in it is a good start for me. Looking forward to this drama when its avaible to view.
Is it my imagination, or is that vest similar to the one Bummie wore in “Dream”? *lol*
Oh, wait, I almost forgot: Lee Juuunnn Kiiiiii *squeals like a fan girl on Red Bull* Ok, now that’s out of my system….I’m really looking forward to this drama, and while I’m sad for the fans of “Heading to the Ground”, I am selfishly glad that “Hero” is starting a week early.
