Lee Ki-woo up for two movies and army duty

Actor Lee Ki-woo (A Star’s Lover) has two movies coming up for release, but he may not get to see them come out before he’s called to fulfill his military service. He’ll enlist in November to begin his five weeks of training and two years of service. The results of his preliminary physical exam deemed him healthy enough to qualify for Level 1 service, meaning active duty.
First, the melodrama Wedding Dress stars Song Yoon-ah as a single mother suffering from cancer and comes from director Kwon Hyun-jin of For Horowitz. Her young daughter is played by child actress Kim Hyang-gi (in pic below), while Lee Ki-woo plays the director of a Taekkyeon dojang. The film has finished shooting.
Next is a complete change of pace in Family Picture, which co-stars Shin Hyun-joon and is a crime thriller featuring Lee as a cop investigating the murder of a child.
Lee Ki-woo debuted in the 2003 film The Classic and followed that with roles in movies like Taekwon Boys and Sad Movie, as well as dramas like A Love to Kill and Rude Women.

I loved him in The Classic, he managed to be both touching and hilarious. Haven’t really had a chance to see him in other roles though. By the bye, I thought active duty meant he only had to do one year or is that just in the infantry? Thanks
I love Lee Ki Woo. Thanks for the update on his projects… will be sad not to see him after he goes into the army. I appreciate the gentle charm he brings to so many of his roles! Definitely a favorite of mine!
He has a really impressive presence — and his towering height might have something to do with it. I was surprised that he was delegated to second male lead in A Star’s Love — well, I understood why there, but was surprised to see someone with that kind of presence in any male second lead.
He has the kind of typical chiseled, handsome looks that actors like Jang Hyuk and Oh Ji Ho have, but his eyes have the most melancholic look in them. Very attractive.
Sounds like his career is just taking off as he heads off to the army. Hopefully he will be able to resurrect it after returning. I wonder why he timed it this way. He could have waited a couple of years.
I know him as the really, really tall guy. His height is impressive for an Asian man. He’s handsome and a good actor yet so underrated. Another actor serving his country. I wonder if there’s any celebrity who have actually served when he was younger and not wait until he’s 30 to enlist.
Oh god. He is so fjiejafkladfd. I think he’s ridiculously good looking. I loved his little cameo in Windstruck. And I watched Sad Movie just for him. I have to watch The Classic now, knowing he’s in it. I’m glad he got work before his enlistment. The two years, he will be missed.
Lee ki- woo finished with military services prior completing ‘bad woman’?

Hey does anybody know if this guy was in 18v.29?[or something like that, I dont remember the name exactly] I lloved the younger cahracter’s interaction then the elders. I was hoping that I would tht pair but…
@angle2mx in the drama 18 vs. 29 the younger guy was played by Si Won from Super Junior, both tall and handsome looking !
I really like lee Ki Woo, I’ve just finished watching Kid Gang, which he was in. So sad that another handsome guy is going off for 2 years to serve his country; at least we have 2 movies of his that we can watch while hes gone.
OMG it was him! the guy who fainted all the time in 2003 film the Classic. Cute. hehe
He’s one of those oh-so-tall-so-good-looking actors along with Jo InSung i swoon over!!..Love him as Rookie in ‘Rude Women’ and that ‘Sad Movie’ .
I first saw Lee Ki Woo in Spin Kick and like him since then. He totally made the movie worth watching (besides seeing Kim Dongwan in his underwear).
Lee Ki Woo is all mine.. (hehhhh)
but we can share… I’m just so happy that many people are loving him tho he’s always play the 2nd lead..
he’s sooo sweet isn’t he? (and his height, his eyes, mmmmm… I’m gushing like a 16yr old – I’m twice that, actually)
really gonna miss this guy…
Lee Ki-Woo made me laugh and cry, and cry again in The Classic. What a great movie!
NO. Lee Ki Woo, Don’t go! I’ll be missing you.
