JAVABEANS, I THINK I’M ADDICTED TO YOUR RECAPS

This is not the drama genre I would have enjoyed, but I have to say I’ve had a good time so far.

After finishing the previous drama ‘Partner,’ I thought I would watch just one ep of MFL (I knew none of the stars except for YEH). But the scene when DC appeared at the airport kidnapping HN captured me. Then, the unanticipated connection between the lead stars started to emerge, and YEH and YSH gave many lovable moments that made me want to see them more. The script is really too weak to support the acting (esp. after HN revealed her affect toward DC), still, in each ep. there’s something worth watching. The line from DC in this ep. surely is among the top of the list.

Like many have said, this drama could use some consistency in the characters. It’s a torture to see them fooling around when they could have given solid, memorable performances. I mean, all four of them seem capable of doing so but sadly drowned by the hodgepodge script. I would also appreciate if there was a little more time to film the drama–it’s sad to see the Yoons turning more tired and tired as the drama unfolds.

Personally, I find the hook of this drama to lie mostly on YSH. I can see many young viewers find it difficult to love DC. In my view, it is totally the scriptwriter’s fault — not to adjust the dynamics among the characters after Mr Yoon has been cast for DC. Take an example, in a recent Taiwanese drama ‘Black & White,’ one of the main characters (Hero) was modified based on the change in cast, yielding great success in the first-time actor as well as the entire drama.

Anyway, there are many impressive components in this drama: the scenery, fashion (I really like DC’s t-shirts), acting, songs (didn’t know YSH&YEH sang some of those, wow), pairing of a poor nothing-to-lose smooth guy with a rich crude gal etc. And thanks for the recaps!!

Finally, the drama had unfolded and will end very soon. Let’s just enjoy each scene but let’s also hear what the end comments will be. It’s really fun to watch the parallel show at the sidelines.

At least now YEH can concentrate in finding her new project. Wouldn’t it be more exciting if a contest is held “choosing the next project for YEH”? Prize must be a part in the show. HAH HAH HAH. . . But ain’t this a good vehicle for YEH and for us fans to ENSURE THAT THE NEXT PROJECT IS WHAT WE REALLY WANT? Based on the excellent comments of the bloggers here, I can sense some professionals in the acting field. They can for sure come out with a very good drama with an outstanding script for YEH. How about that JB and the rest? Thank you in advance.
