I 've just finished Sons of Sol Pharmacy and enjoyed it a lot. However, since I don't download videos I wasn't able to find all the videos in a hardsubbed version on the net. So I fill the gaps with your recaps.
I appreciate your great work and I am eagerly waiting for the rest of it!
Thank you!

I just did a marathon on the series over the past week or so and thoroughly enjoyed it. I dismissed earlier it despite your usual wonderful recaps because I don't want to watch 54 hrs of drama. However, when I had a look again at the first episode, it made me laugh so much and I was unable to stay away from it. I kept laughing and crying, my hubby must think 'she's really gone mad with her k-drama obsession'.

I am an only child and I have an only son so I guess I never experienced favouritism nor will I inflict the scar of favouritism on my family. But I have seen this in the families around me and I know it can't be helped.

Dae Poong is such a hilarious character and provides the near-slapstick humour into the series. I know they exaggerate a bit in dramas but there are men like DP in real life. I was really annoyed with him at the start of the series, but you all know what will happen later...

I love that the drama does not have any hard-core villains, which is how it is in real life. We struggle within our own families and the people outside the family that we interact with on a day-to-day basis. And in those interactions come out our life's conflicts.

I will look forward to your future recaps.

Thanks once again, JB!

Thank you!!! for the recap, javabeans.
I just watched these episodes a few days ago and the "heartbreaking gentleness" you described was achingly wonderful to watch.

Seriously, your insights and commentary make watching kdramas a much richer and fulfilling experience. Thank you so much.

thank you sooo much for the recaps, I really enjoy them. I just recently started watching this drama and have done a bit of a marathon watching it ^_^ I was so relieved and happy when bokshil started to have her own life outside of the sol pharmacy family. I hope daepoong soon realizes how bad he's been treating her and makes up for it.

I loved this show. loved the scene that you loved too. i think both actors played their parts so well. i loved how lee pil mo showed so much nuance to his character. his character is one of the hardest to play but lee pil mo did it so well. loved his character despite of his silly brattiness overboard craziness. XD
