I would be bothered by that, because iaido and kata weren’t practiced in Korea in 1592. (Kenjutsu, as know it today, didn’t proliferate until during the Era of Warring States.)

Bidam of Queen Seon Duk, he’s an awesome creation because he’s half wuxia and half iaido, using a backhand sword drawing technique associated with ninja jutsu. It’s historically preposterous . . . but it’s HAWT!!

Also, let’s not go overboard – most of the Korean actresses known for their beauty are natural (can’t get much past the netizens these days).

Im happy that he chose her as the main actresses. She carries the true essence of korean beauty, not them plastic faces that are TAKING OVER THE MEDIA. her eyes are beautiful!

I haven’t seen anything w/HJH in awhile (the last was like Sweet 18 I think). But it would be interesting to see how she would hold her own in this movie.
