I totally agree with #7 that the High Kick Through the Roof is an excellent sequel that far surpasses the first one. I am particularly fond of Shin Sisters’ characters. They add some humanity and balance in the characters.

Of course, not too mention, Jung Bo-Suk (a.k.a Jewelry Jung) in the series. Jung has been playing more serious characters, and here he is playing a character that is utterly funny. “The Jewelry Jung and the City” episode was just hilarious. I am looking forward to see how far he will go with his character.

If Chansung made a cameo appearance, I’d definitely welcome that. It’s funny how they always joke around that although Chansung was part of the cast (one-sided bff of Yunho and fought with Bum over Minho’s affections), no one recognizes him when he goes out with Kim Bum, Jung Ilwoo, and Kim Hyesung. Wouldn’t everyone die happy just seeing those four boys together? ^^

i’m not so much acquainted with the sitcom but i just got curious about it since popular actors nowadays like kim bum and singers/idols like hwang chansung started in this show…

well, i guess maybe before, Hwang Chansung of 2pm was not really so much recognized in the sitcom unlike Kim Bum and Jung Il-woo…
but i was thinking maybe if 2pm’s maknae would be invited to have a cameo appearance in High kick through the roof, that would stir up people’s interests…

I’ve been watching the new High Kick and I really have to say it’s pretty good. (I actually think it’s better by far than the first.) I initially watched it so I could zone out from studying but pretty soon I realized that it definitely has its own merit.

The first few episodes are not very indicative of the series so I’d encourage you to stick it out! It’s great fun but it has depth.The last episode actually had me tearing!

I thought Jung Il-woo was the older brother and that he was forced to address Kim Hye-sung as the older brother because Hye-sung was smarter than him? Was I wrong the whole series? o.O

love the series! just got into it this week and finished all the eps (though technically i cheated by fast forwarding through a lot of the grandfather’s parts). absolutely love the young people of this series and can’t wait to see their love lines develop.

^ You’re right, I think I started to get into Unstoppable High Kick somewhere around Episode 40. I caught bits of the earlier episodes but I never went back to watch them, and I didn’t feel I missed too much.

I actually think Highkick through the roof is equally good as the first one, the story and pace picks up in the later part, love it when the story starts to develop along the relationships of the main characters. For now, the love line is still unclear who pairs with who but i’m loving Hwang Jung Eun’s character, she’s so cute.

I thought it was kinda bland and flat when it first started but it gets better. Actually, thinking of Unstoppable high kick, i also fell in love with it in the later parts where JIW starts to like his teacher, haha.. Love line makes magic i guess..

I have seen a few episodes of this new one, and for some reason I don't find it as entertaining. Lol, I thought the grandpa/teacher romance was funny.. but for some reason I am disgusted with that little girl's eating habits before she starts to live a "normal life" O_O;;
