Pig-Rabbit for sale (calling You’re Beautiful fans)

If you were charmed by the “Pig-Rabbit” stuffed animal that was featured prominently in this week’s episodes of You’re Beautiful, you’re not the only one: the production company has been flooded with inquiries about it. One source explains, “The phone won’t stop ringing with questions regarding the Pig-Rabbit. With the fans requesting merchandise of the A.N.JELL cut-outs [pogs] and the Pig-Rabbit, we have looked into it and plan to begin production soon.”

In case you’re behind on the drama, “Pig-Rabbit” arose out of a nickname that Jang Geun-seok‘s character had for Park Shin-hye; the plush version was created when he cannibalized two stuffed animals in Episode 9 to produce a bunny with a pig snout. (As you can see, it sure made her happy.)

The stuffed animal was also featured in Episode 10 as he continued talking (and venting) to the doll. The cartoonized A.N.JELL figures (pogs and stickers), which were used as a plot point, also got fans talking.

Meanwhile, the drama finally broke 10% ratings with the last episode; its 10.0% (via TNS ratings; AGB’s give 10.8%) held up against IRIS‘s 30.9%.

You weren't kidding when you said that the star necklace and hairpin were expensive...yikes! =O

I love this drama, love the music, pretty much love everything about it. I've bought both of the OSTs, and, yes, I even bought the Pig-Rabbit(going to give it to my daughter, who's my drama buddy). At $49.99, it's pricey, but I figured my daughter would love to have one...so I went for it. Then, I thought, okay, if and when they come out with the ribbon hairpin, I'll get one too, to clip to Pig-Rabbit's ear to complete the gift. I know I'll be paying a premium for it, due to high demand by the fans...

...but $49.99?!? Isn't it only a 3,000 won pin? I mean, I know that Tae-kyung paid 100,000 won for it, but he's rich and was getting rushed by motorists behind him.

I'm going to have to really think about it, before plunkin' another $49.99 down....

I am so late. In any case. I bought my pig rabbit from yesasia even though it was the most expensive site on the net just to be sure that it looks the same. The knockoffs are too fat IMHO. However, I thought I'd love it without the hair pin. Unfortunately, I'm thinking that I might need to shell out the $25+ to make my pig rabbit complete.
