jung in is sooo lovable.. how can anyone not like her!..i love how hyun soo shows his affection for her in a subtle sweet ways..

I also love how sang hoon is so honest with geum ja after all that drama with joo hee and tells geum ja everything..and opens himself up in order to get her understanding and love…it was so sweet and genuine when he gave her that ring..it was soo touching!

i love this drama so much and the ending of episode 16 is awesomely great! i love how he smiles and finds out his true feelings for her..no more bro-sis relationship!

The thing with this drama is that it seems to just get better. YB (to compare another good, current romance) caught me straight away. This, as others have said, is probably because of the difference in length between the two. I love YB because it can be simultaneously silly, cute, unreal, hilarious and yet somehow, touching. I think part of its charm is that it’s so unrealistic, but pulls the surrealism off well.

What I love about Smile You is that it is a much more realistic drama, with lots more interactions between the characters. I love how we don’t just see Jung In’s bonding with Hyun Soo, but also with the rest of the Kangs (this even more in ep 15/16). Plus, the fact that HS and JI’s relationship has had so much time to develop realistically makes it all the more *squeeeee*-able.

As I’ve said, I think Smile You is getting better and better – after each episode I think “that was the best one yet!!”.

I honestly don’t blame her. Here she’s been thrown out of the house and her mother never visited her (or even thought of her, from what we can tell!). Jung-in just found that she has to pay back a very expensive ring (that her father sold) just to break free from Han-se and probably realizes she can depend on her mom to even sympathize. Without even trying, Geum-ja has taken better care of Jung-in and (even at her grouchiest) has been far kinder to her than Han-se’s mother.

Thanks for the invite, but I’m not on Soompi at all and I’m trying to limit how obsessive I get about my K-dramas. (It’s not working.) I might be like Sonam and just stick to these recaps… at least for a little while.

I am so addicted to smile , can’t get hyun-soo and jung-in out of my head. I am a total sucker for k-drama, and am so loving the evolving relationship between the leads. And thanks for continuing with the recaps.

I have been enjoying Smile, You, so it’s nice to see that you guys keep up the recaps. I know in the beginning it must have been difficult to go back and rewatch the earlier episodes, but the show has definitely picked up a lot since it’s beginning and the show is finally hitting a good stride. I hope I won’t be disappointed with the rest of the drama. Also, I have to agree about Jung-Kyung. I know that sometimes she is so selfish that it’s driving me insane, but with that type of family and her really messed up relationship with the director, she has become a character that is easier to understand, especially with the stuff that’s going on now. Please keep up the recaps, I truly appreciate them.
