At first I thought hye sun is not good at acting when I watched her at BOF although she got my attention out of all the cast, but when I watched her at hearts of 19 and king and i, it made me change my impression to her. Well I hope her the best in her first full length movie and to seo hyun jin also.

If she wasn't such a sweet and caring person, this could be really intimidating for many people; Imagine being cast in a film where the director is prettier and far more talented than all of the actresses in the movie! After this leg of the Goo Hye Sun "anyhthing you can do, I can do better" tour, I believe she'll be accepting another role in a television drama. Of all the things that she does so well, it's her sunny personality and her marvelous acting talents that I'm most in need of seeing in 2010...:)

I don't know. Does Gu Hye Sun have the be-direct and assertive type of personality to direct a movie? I like her but would like to see her do more acting.

That's what I was thinking.

I feel like a lot of GHS's non-acting endeavors are very pseudo-intellectual. From her artwork to her novel to this movie...it's like she's trying too hard to be deep and it's so turning me off.

first saw her in Seo Dong Yo (SDY) where she played a supporting role to Jo Hyun Jae (in the title role) and Lee Bo Young. Even though Hye Sun's character was a very minor one I still noticed her good acting - playful, childish, loyal, bubbly. In fact, I came to love her more than the lead female Lee Bo Young. I love her character so much that I wanted her character to end up with Jo Hyun Jae's character.

People should stop judging her by just one project (BBF, which I didn't have to patience to finish), watch her other dramas, I say.

@11-I agree with you. After watching BOS- GHS's character stood out more than female lead-LBY and I I think it had to do with her bubbly character. She was very cute in it n' it wasn't hard to miss her on camera.

@10-Hearts of 19 is a must watch for any K-drama fan! I'm glad I gave it a chance after hearing it was 167 episodes. I would watch that over again.

BOF wasn't her best but there was sooo many things wrong with it anyways...u could write a book on it.

Hate her all you want but she's doing what she's been dreaming of doing. Lucky her!

Well I was reading the opinion of every fan off her and I don't have to be one sided
since every individual are in title of their own belief.For me Go Hye Sun will always be in my heart.I was wishiing and hoping that I will see her once again w/ Lee Min Ho in another series of Boys Before Flower. I admired her a lot.And I wish her a lot of blessings in this coming year 2010.Hopefully I wil see the F4 sooner.

hmmm..not sure about directing..for Gu..
shes adorable...and her looks definitely help in acting career..
but directing is a whole other story..maybe she'll get better? who knows..

I love GHS! I'm proud to say and I'm not ashamed to be a big fan of hers. I wish her all the best in whatever endeavor she undertakes. I hope she finishes up excellently with "Magic" so I can see her in a project that will put her in front of the camera this 2010 and hoping to see her paired with established actors (although I'm a MinSun fan as well). I want to see her in action!

I like Goo Hye Sun so much... And I think that she did well in BOF/BFF because the personality of geum jan di is far from her real personality since she is an artist.. I also like her being paired with Min Ho, they're cute together. I also like her doing a musical drama because she's a good singer, and she can dance too..

after watching bof, i became a fan of gu hye sun. i browse the net for the latest updates concerning her... she surely has a sunny smile that warns the heart.. i hope that she will have a new tv drama series...

i love her!! so what if she got negative critiscisms as BOF..it was still very successful anyway!! I support her to whatever field she's passionate about !!

She did a superb job in BBF...her actin was so real.....I wish to see her co star Lee Minho to work together in future again....the cutest n sweetest couple i hve ever seen.....All the best.............
