So…I just finished epi 1….it was …okay. I mean it took me more than 1 1/2 hr to watch it because I couldn’t get into it. I paused it and went over to my Hubby and chatted about daily mundane ( which caught him by surprise..”who are you, lady?..you couldn’t be my wife…she never talk with us after dinner because the laptop and her become 1…we never dare to talk to her because she would give us the stink eye…he he)
Anyhoo, I hope the drama gets better. I got to say though, LBH is cute- the typical bad boy (looove the shooting range part…classic bad boy’s move)

We had a Betamax, too. And it was the most awesome device. The triumph of the VHS is a technological shame for the human race. You reminded me, we recorded on our Beta, and we finally had no choice but to switch to VHS, cuz they didn’t sell Betas anymore and ours was on its last legs (thanks to copious drama and Robotech watching). I ended up recording all our Beta Robotech tapes into VHS format, upon which our long-suffering Beta which served us so well promptly got up, shook its fist, and then self-combusted.

I wrote my Nora-Bora or Bora-Nora story in less than 5 minutes with non-stop typing and shouting over my shoulder “Go to sleep….if I have to go over there…..” at the boy koala in bed. Can you tell how much I missed you guys and OT?

I think @Samsooki is either in dreamland or he’s totally ignoring our plead for him to watch CITC….all I can say is….PLEASE give it a try, my friend….Sorry, I won’t do the noona card with him, and No way on NPW….I know, Doctor’s order- @ Samsooki : You need to take (watch) 8 (episodes) of CITC and (please) report back to me after, and only after completion of such course (viewing)…arms crossed, giving him a serious look…scribbling the Rx as I speak….

My brother and I were glued to the couch for every episode of Robotech when it originally aired. We didn’t record it – I think this was before we got our Betamax (yes, we had a Betamax long before we got a VHS). But it was our crack.

See, that’s what everyone THINKS, but the truth is that all of that was nothing but an article in a newspaper, while the real Bora is alive and well and waiting for me to cough up enough cash to get us both to Korea (thank God she knows the language, what with all the -sshi’s and -ah’s and -nim’s and OMG). In the season of holiday cheer – I must tell you, the Bora with you was the Bora of Christmas past. In all her glorious phantomy self.

I tease, I tease, if you got Bora in physical form besides you, then it was Bora’s given up for adoption older by 5 minutes twin because her daddy was poor when she waz born, and her mommy died giving birth to the twins, and the younger twin Bora got entangled up in the umbilical cord so has a heart problem, and the poor daddy now with 3 kids can’t afford to raise then since Bora needs extra money and care, so he gives up the older and healthy twin to a lovely American couple visiting from Mississippi, who promptly leaves Korea and returns to grande ole MS with their bundle of joy they name Nora (whoah with the coincidences), who grows up sweet, caring, considerate, warm to others, and one days encounters you at a Christmas party. And you mistake her for Bora, especially since she has a special speech impediment whereby when she pronounces N’s, it sounds like B’s. Plus you’re totally drunk so you are hearing out of one ear anyway. So you think Nora is Bora.

And Nora will soon meet a certain disheveled Korean math professor at a hotel in Vegas, become intrigued with him, cross paths, then she gets hired to do a major M&A takeover of a Korean University, so she returns to Korea to help with the acquisition, lives at the faculty dorms of the University, sees the professor name Tae-woong is teaching there, and embarks on her journey to find her birth parents. TW is torn between his dead love Bora and look-a-like Nora, who turns out to be twins. Oh, and I just bastardized Hotelier and What Star are You From, and it feels so good.
