Like everyone, I enjoyed the younger actor/actress part but I was impatiently awaiting the older cast to come forward. The first two episodes were relatively entertaining, lack of interest increased towards the middle and end. The end was a happy one considering it's a melodrama and no one died. Thank goodness. The story was depressing enough and to kill someone during the process of overcoming emotional barriers, would have been even worse. Anyway, HYS's character is bland in the latter years of her life as she is emotionally unstable and then later physically unstable, however, the moments between her and KS were cute at times but annoyingly short. The other actor and actress, had one boring ass story. I was not in the least interested in their love life. To be honest, I thought a deeper and more confusing love triangle would develop but it just remained predictable throughout the series. Ji Wan's second man didn't really like her and she didn't really like him, both stubbornly trying to demolish their feelings for their first love (by getting with each other) but in the end become unsuccessful. If I had known I would spend 16 hours of my life watching four characters move from point A to point B then A and then B and finally coming back to point A, then I would have preferred just watching several trailers on youtube and guessed from there. Sadly, I began watching without having a clue as to what I was getting myself into, I felt a little like Ji Wan's (HYS) mother, unforgiving and crazed by the end of it all. Props to those who contributed musically! I loved the OST, especially the song "Because Of You" by Gummy. Funny thing is, I can't stop thinking about the drama because of the lazy ending, it just feels incomplete to me. "My crazy mother wants you for dinner" Wtf. I just had to add that extra criticism.

I like what I'm seeing with Will It Snow For Christmas.....interesting story line. Have a feeling things will escalate from Episode 5 and on.

The younger actors were very good....I especially feel the male as youth and now as adult has same characteristics. Very good acting! Will be interesting to follow him through the drama.

Watched Will It Snow accidentally after rewatching the last two eps of YAB and I'm surprised to say that the first episode was rather engaging, and I do like the younger versions of the leads (in fact more than the leads themselves to be honest).

Good set up of the first episode, and there's lots of stuff I can foresee them exploring, but after watching the trailer for the grown-up bits not too sure how keen I'll stay on this drama. I find that I usually enjoy the kids version more, as with Autumn In My Heart, but we'll see how it goes. Looking forward to episode 2 (and I do wish they left the younger versions of themselves longer in the drama!). I do hope this doesn't turn into another MFL let down...

i've seen the first two episodes of "will it snow for christmas" and all i can say is super props to the actors playing the younger versions of cha kang jin/go soo, ji whan/han ye seul and their classmates/friends/whatever. personally, i thought they did an awesome job and the two of them had pretty good chemistry. i kind of wanted the younger version part of the story to go on a little longer, but i guess you can't really drag it out for too long when you only have a 14/16 episode drama.

it was surprising that i liked the younger version part so much since i usually find the whole "them when they were younger" parts of dramas so awkward and bland and the entire time, i'm thinking, "okay, when are they going to bring out the older actors?" the only time i've ever really enjoyed the younger version story is in autumn fairy tale where moon geun young plays the young song hye gyo and maybe hwang jin yi when jang geun suk was in it.

but yeah, it's still too early for me to decide whether i like the drama or not. i do, however, think go soo is still really hot [if not hotter than before] and im still a little uneasy about han ye seul's acting that i'm seeing in the previews.

I'm a melodrama fiend, and this is a Lee Kyung Hee drama, so of course I'm going to watch this show. Everybody kinda concentrates on MiSa (as do I), but her drama Thank You was my favorite show of 2007. Seen almost everything she's done, including Breathless, the one with Kim Kang Woo from the director of Ruler of Your Own World.

Lee Kyung Hee dramas are kinda split into 2 acts. First act, LKH usually has some very artificial, very cheesy, generic melodrama situation. However, that cheesy melo situation is her playground to indulge her artier, experimental side . . . and so usually she'll in those first 8 episodes throw you into a gordian knot of narrative techniques, absent voices, absurdist observations, etc. And if you look hard enough, you may find allusions to the Bible in there, where it's MiSa's reinterpretation of Cain and Abel, or Thank You's influences from the Book of Job (kinda) as well as purgatory. Above all, she demonstrates a profound love for the solitary heroic man in the same vein that writers like Unamuno, Garcia Lorca, and Octavio Paz do in their work. Which is the point -- in that first half, she treats melodrama as a paradoxical piece of ultraismo ficcion. The plot points are merely impassioned choreography to explore death, abyss, and true unmasking of one's soul. She doesn't do themes; she explores myths.

THEN in act 2, she goes back to Melodrama 101 and piles on the tears. At that point, it's all execution. :D

You've seen enough Lee Kyung Hee, you get used to her bipolar approach to melodrama. She does most of her best, most creative work in the first half of the show. Then she goes conventional in the 2nd half. Hopefully if there was enough momentum from the 1st half, you won't lose your interest in the 2nd half. She's one of my favorite writers in K-drama, but she's maybe the laziest of em all. :D
