I had no idea this stuff was available, but someone asked me for help finding piano sheet music for songs from the soundtrack of You’re Beautiful. Lo and behold, there are several available so I thought I’d share:

I’ve spent thousands of dollars and hours of driving sending my three kids to piano lessons, only to have them all quit on me. But I feel it will be worth it if each kid learns to play a few of these songs and play for me, which is what I’ve asked for, for my Christmas present. Merry Christmas to me! Thank you, javabeans! Oh god one of my frustrations in life is that I cannot play any musical instrument! I bought a guitar and never really learned how. We have a piano at my parent’s house, but I never really learned that too!!!

This is how bad it is.
I don’t play a musical instrutment, and sheet music is so many pretty lines on a page.
But I was all excited because I saw a picture of TK and MN and something about YB here.
And even after I figured out it was sheet music I still am.
I’m considering a new career in some stringed instrument so I can play the OST (What’s a violin?)
This isn’t good.
My therapist will not be pleased….

I miss YB soooo much!
Wow! This is serious stuff! I thought they would just be the songs scored for easy piano playing, but they’re actually vocal scores with accompanying piano scores. If you just play the piano part, all you’d hear is the chords, so one actually has to sing along – not so easy. But super cool for the die-hards – thanks!
I’ve printed out “Without Words” and may have a go tonight; but I will have to make up the words as I go along — it won’t be pretty…
