Kim Bum plays an indie-band musician in his new drama, MBC’s The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry, and he shows off some of his own guitar-playing skills in this week’s two episodes, to air on the 27th and 28th. The scene was shot on the 23rd in a Hongdae club; Kim performed live, singing and playing guitar with the band.
In addition, he will contribute a track to the drama’s OST called “The Woman Who Cut My Guitar Cord” (which, if you’ve watched the first episode, you’ll know refers to Park Jin-hee‘s character; she cut his cord out of frustration in their first encounter when he refused to stop playing per her request). The song was released via online services today, the 27th.
We already know that Kim Bum can sing, and even recently put out a single album. I’ll look forward to this song and his onscreen performance, since I’m liking this drama so far with its refreshing air and entertaining friendships between the three main characters.

I felt the same, but then I formed the ICOMYM Club (Inappropriate Crushes On Much Younger Men), and have been pain free ever since. Kim Bum was totally my inspiration for the club because he’s young enough to be my son!

i might check this out since JB is giving out good feedback.. but ever since Dalja and Taebong, no other older woman/younger man pairing ever made it so convincing and real as they were.
When “Boys Over Flowers” had to stop production for a short time,
because Gu Hye-sun (Jandi) was injured in an auto accident,
the F4 boys appeared in a talk show special………to fill in for the
missing episode. (Could the producers have cut things any closer?)
Anyway……Kim Hyun-joong played a brief song on guitar, and the other
three guys said that none of them played guitar. This was followed by
Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun-joong, AND KIM BUM, each playing a short tune
on a nearby piano.
So either Kim Bum was being modest during the talk show….or….
to be able to play the guitar for this new kdrama role, he went to
the same music teacher “who taught Jihoo how to play the violin.”
And what about KB’s brilliant ability for playing the saxaphone?
