Guess it must already be that time of the month again, by which I mean that time when all the fashion mags put out teasers of their star-studded upcoming issues. This time it’s Marie Claire featuring Chuno‘s runaway bride, Lee Da-hae, whose spread will be in the February issue.
Lee’s shoot takes a so-called “bold concept,” departing from her usual image and showing off her figure. (The pink, according to an editor, was chosen to suit the upcoming Valentine’s Day.)
Aside from looking beautiful in the shoot, Lee Da-hae’s got a lot to be happy about these days; Chuno is kicking major butt in the ratings, and it’s only just begun. It airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays on KBS.

I came across someone’s comments on Da Hae before which i liked so much. “she’s as pretty as you can get”. Defnitely true!
Lately, Lee Da Hae is looking a little plastic. By that I mean, there’s something different about her like she doesn’t look like she used to before. A while back there was a story about her that she had double-eyelid surgery because it was revealed that another actress had competed in a pageant that she was in.
The first picture showcases her lovely figure…but it’s her beautiful face that I find I’m drawn to. Very pretty girl and an excellent actress. I’m glad that she’s in this blockbuster hit drama. I’ll definitely watch it when it comes available subbed.

In that second picture though, it looks almost as if her hand is in the flower. Maybe it’s an intentional illusion? I love it though; such a cool effect.

I don’t like them if the concpet is sexy I don’t find anything sexy about the first pic, maybe it’s her expression or the way her body is angled that I find weird.

Me think so, too. She’s really pretty but nothing more (just my opinion, sorry to her fans). No aura/charisma which a celebrity should have. I watched My Girl long ago and it helped me achieve a record of “fastest-watched drama” thanks to the FFW button (T_T)
However, I like the lingerie piece. it looks lovely!
While plastic surgery is common in the entertainment industry, I don’t think it’s okay for people to look at celebs who’ve gone under the knife and think it’s acceptable. It seems like it’s a necessity in the industry, so I’m not condemning it or anything, but I still think that celebs should advocate natural beauty more, for the girls (and guys, I suppose) who look up to them. Because plastic surgery seems to be spreading way too fast in the general public. That said, I do think she’s looking great in these pictures (although, again, she looks so skinny in the second!)
I miss her look in MY GIRL-she got a face/cheeks that make me want to pinch her-such an excellent actress despite her young age i.e her previous works.

She is one gorgeous lady. To me, she is the most beautiful korean actress there is. Not to mention talented too.
Never been impress with LDH poses or expressions in any magazine spread, including this. She’s suppose to have a sexy/”bold” pic here but somehow she doesn’t give that vibe. She’s pretty but in boring kind (yes I repeat what other posters said). I prefer someone who’s not have to be really pretty/handsome but always exudes charisma/charm.
Is it me or Korean high-fashion mags aren’t as adventurous as their western counterparts in their editorials? Do celebrities get the cover shots and models do the fashion shots?
Perhaps it’s because I’ve always been exposed to the western Vogues and Marie Claires (and that I’m a graphic designer) that I see these shots by LDH and countless stars in past shoots and go “Oh they look nice, but how boring is the spread.”
G-Dragon’s and 2NE1′s mag shoots a couple of months were probably the only ones I can remember off the top of my head that could be classified as a high-fashion editorial.

I like LDH enough to follow all her projects. Now, comparing the LDH in dramas with her pix here, I definitely agree with @ 28 asianromance; waayyyy too much photoshopping. Nothing looks like her natural self.

2 odd years ago, she was criticised for being anorexic-like while hosting an KBS drama awards show. Then, she looked like she had no trunk at all. I still dun think she does but she could have arched in such way she shows it in the first pic
meh, the only drama i watched her in was My Girl , other than i have not been able to sit and fully watch her other dramas…one hit wonder?? well at least for me…and there’s something about her that i don’t like either…and not to mention some of the things she wears are quite revealing…feels like she wants to be known as a sex idol?
She’s too pretty but I liked her best in My Girl, that kind of pretty that came from effervescence and character. When she looks like this she looks too much the melo princess wilting. Her personality IRL is great though, she’s teasing and funny and smart and fun, and she has guts. Not the best actress out there but talented and pretty cool. Her bod is amazing but a more creative shoot would be nice, my eyes just flick to the underwear/flower and then that’s it.

u know right, there’s some actresses/actors who arent really good at acting but u just can’t hate them, and also some who are good at acting but u just can’t like them.

Lee Da Hae is gorgeous–it’s undeniable really. LDH is fairly tall i think? So to be honest she’s not “too skinny”…I’m quite envious of her butt curve yet slim waist/arms in the first pic. Some asian girls are skinny and flat, you know?
She’s not my fave actress but have a soft spot for her b/c of My Girl….so always a part of me is rooting for her success!
