Joo Ji-hoon begins military service

Joo Ji-hoon headed off to serve his two years of military duty on the afternoon of February 2. He will complete five weeks of basic training before heading into the reserve corps.
Despite the noise about his indictment last summer on charges of drug use, Joo still has ardent fans; his departure was attended by a group of 300, including approximately 100 who flew to Korea from Japan just to show their support.
The Goong, Antique Bakery and Devil star served community service and paid a fine for his drug use. He was also given a suspended jail term, although with a clean probation period he will not serve any time. Enlisting in army duty now is probably the smartest thing he can do now to rehabilitate his image. See ya in two years, Joo Ji-hoon!

AHHHH! poor joo ji hoon - i'm mourning for his hair more right now, since i know he'll come back stronger than ever. i TOTALLY can't wait for his comeback! he needs to choose wisely, or do a drama with yoon eun hye, and then all will be good in the world!

oh no i feel so bummed out :( :( i just finished goong couple of days ago and feel completely in love in shin goon... Look at Robert Downy Jr. he has just won the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy Or Musical for his role in Sherlock Holmes. - I asked myself that same question when my one and only true love Jo Hyun Jae left for his MS August 2008. I coped by rewatching his old dramas/movies. It also helps a lot if you keep communicating with your fellow fans.
Two years is a long haul, true, but it is also true that time flies by so fast. My waiting is almost over, a little over 4 months left and JHJ will be back to civilian life. Your waiting is just starting so I wish you the best...
