I watched her in Fantasy Couple and wasn’t impressed. Now as I’m watching Oh My Lady. . . she seems to be playing the exact same character just richer. Sigh.

Korea admittedly is a drama factory and a good one at that . The Korean entertainment industry has produced good actors -adults and children of both gender . They have also provided the best OST as far as Asia is concerned . Although the themes of their dramas are by now predictable -the genre is expanding and execution is improving . And they have the BUDGET to produce believable sets and to have location shootings,too . However ,there is that flaw of having repetitive cycles of crisis after crisis tackled in drama (sometimes 10 episodes are no longer necessary), and then rushing at the end to resolve them -this can be cured by a tighter story and scriptwriting . Another flaw that can easily be corrected is the title given to the drama -sometimes they are too simplistic, has no relation to the story , or too similar to another drama . Take Oh My lady for instance ,isn’t it similar to a drama starred in by Lee Dahae some years back ? Maybe it will be more fitting if the title is Oh My Adjumma -since the focus is really on Chae Rim being an adjumma and how she managed her situation in life while getting entangled with the life of others specially of course with that of character of Choi Siwon .

For some reason the girl in the pic reminded me of the girl in wish upon a star. is it just me or do they look alike. well anyways this sounds like a unique story line im definatly going to give it a try.

I watched her in Everybody Cha Cha and hated when she had screentime in there, so apparently (from the posts above she was not any good in her past shows too). But will watch this for Chaerim and Siwon. Let’s hope she gets less screentime on this one.

can’t they pick a girl on his age!! isn’t she too old to play as his sweetheart university..she is 27 and he is 23!!
r they trying to avoid scandals by bringing an old and some1′s girlfriend..
i didn’t see PHB in any drama yet.. but there something about her that i don’t like

oh well at least am liking the leads

Yes, my interest in this drama also dimmed because of PHB. I saw her in Fantasy Couple and did not understand what the fuss about her was all about. And then I saw Freeze with her and LSJ and I said: “Thank God that it was only a 5 episode series”. And that I know it was not just me. It was just her acting…so wooden, no emotions, nothing. So hopefully this drama will change my opinion of her. If not, it would be the last drama I watch of hers.

Meh…didn’t like PHB in Fantasy Couple. But I will definitely watch the first episode of this!
