Cinderella’s Sister, KBS’s upcoming buzz drama, shot its opening titles on February 19 after its first script rehearsal took place last week. The production has released the first shots of the drama’s two stars, Moon Geun-young and Chun Jung-myung, which were taken at a resort in the Kyeonggi province.
(The mood seems a little heavier than I’d anticipated. Perhaps this’ll be a weightier drama than expected? Not that they ever said it would be fluffy — and with actors like Moon and Chun, we could expect better than throwaway silliness anyway — but when a kdrama throws the term “Cinderella” into its core description, one tends to think trendy romance.)

Kim Gyu-wan’s drama is always serious and heavy and I heard the music director for this drama is the one who did Misa and Piano. You see what atmosphere this drama will have… I’m pretty sure there’s going to be lots of crying and heart-breaking in this drama which I like to see from all of these three-MGW, SW, CJM.
Aigoo… I hope this one is not as sad as WIFSC. The stills represent such gloomy scenes. And I’m not really liking it. Enough angst in WIFSC, I hope this one is like another trendy drama. I’m keeping my fingers crossed here.
Though I’m curious whether Ok Taecyeon would pull it off well in this drama. I hope he won’t ruining this. I have faith for the capability of the other 3 casts except for him.

He’s enough to make me watch anything, melodrama or not.
I am unbelievably excited for this drama and I haven’t been this excited for a drama in a while. (Like, seriously, an irrational amount of excitement. LOL.)

It amazed me how some can tell whether or not there’ll be good/bad chemistry between the leads before the drama starts
. Still, I love love CJM, I thought he was great in What’s up Fox and Goodbye Solo.
i dont remember the last HEAVY drama that i watched… it seems like most of the ones i recently watch and currently watching are RomComs…
i wanna watch this but i dont wanna be all sad.. im sensitive like that. lol.

Ah, I love Moon Geun Young so much~ I loved Chun Jung Myung in Fashion 70′s so I am anxiously waiting for this drama~ It’s been a while since I’ve been excited for an upcoming drama~ The stills look pretty.
oh dear. in kdrama code, snow usually equals tragedy and/or melodrama. there’re tons of examples.
still, I never really got the impression that this would be a frothy, sugary confection… more like a darker twist on the story (a la Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, perhaps?)
Very intrigued, will definitely be watching.

actually, this kind of looks like 가을동아 (autumn’s tale) 10 years later lol or 겨울영과 2 (winter sonata) 
idk, it just has that feel…especially because moon geun young was in autumn’s tale haha~ looking forward to this!
Remember a classic Kdrama with a title ‘Glass Slipper’? If GS is a today drama, it sounds like a trendy drama, but yet.. it’s a heavy/tear jerker drama. The title “Cinderella’s Sister’s” reminds me of “Glass Slipper”.. yeah.. cinderella and her glass shoes.. there is a similarity
. So, it may be another melodrama instead of trendy one.
Btw, who is the main lead? MGY or Seo Woo?

Chun Jung-myung! Chun Jung-myung! So hot! Such expressive eyes. I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I’ll have to figure out how to watch this and Personal Taste. I’m sure I’ll figure something out.
Ever since i watched the drama What’s Up Fox i was pleasantly surprised by the actor Chun Jung-myung!!! He has such a young adorable face compare to his age that gets your attention and not to mention his eyes HEEHEE. If anyone wants to watch another awesome drama of Chun Jung-myung watch “what’s up fox” for adults. ^___^
I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS DRAMA!!! I need to watch What’s Up Fox again to survive this agony of waiting……URG!!.
I actually think that Moon Geun Young and Chun Jung-myung looks good together, i hope they date for real. WHEEEEE. Okay okay i’ll keep my dreaming to myself.
i had already expected the mood to be a bit heavier since the writer seemed to have written melodrama-y dramas in the past. I like how there isn’t a good/innocent female character. both have their good and dark sides…with nice Cinderella being sort of justified to take revenge on her evil sister for years of suffering…but the evil sister, though she deserves to be punished, probably doesn’t deserve whatever revenge plan Seo Woo’s character has in store and we’d probably feel more sympathetic towards MGY’s character because she’s the main character. Perhaps it’s all due to childhood resentment or a misunderstanding.
it’s like this romance novel I read where the main character treated her half-sister worse than dirt in high school and tried to steal her bf. Years later, when she is reformed and returns to her hometown(whose people she had also treated like dirt), the half-sister is bent on humiliating her. In the end it turns out each had hated the other due to daddy issues (i remember that for the main character the father ignored her and her mom and spent all his time with his other family) and they made up.
I want this drama to do well since I like MGY and Seo-woo, but I don’t think i’m going to watch it.
I love MGY very much,whether it was the movie(Little Bride )to the powerful kdrama(PoTW) . She might be young, but her acting range is superb. This young lady will go far. I am definitely watch this drama…can’t wait

i think this drama will be a great drama.. i read at the other blog that this drama will take a romantic comedy genre.. the leading actor isn’t handsome as lee min ho but he has a better character.. i want to know how high will the rating gain..
