I don think I like DG very much…true he’s tormented by his past…but he used to treat people nicer…now he just unleashes his anger indiscriminately and kill indiscriminately. I hope he becomes nicer and joins the rebellion with TH later …(lol…wishful thinking?)

I don understand why people don like TH. The writers made him almost perfect. I guess his only fault is he likes a girl who in everyone’s mind is supposed to be paired with another.

I don think UN/HW is wrong. Why does everyone expects her to mourn forever. I’m pretty sure she has feelings for TH…but everyone just assumes she is merely SETTLING for him instead…just because she knows him for a shorter period doesn’t mean she don love him much…

I don’t know who she should end up with actually..both are equally deserving..
but I also think that the pace is very slow…and they really love those slow-mo scenes…it’s in total contrast of the urgency of their situation…

I think if they sped things up a little…this would be a much better watch…
Having said that, I do think Chuno is a good watch and you’re doing a mighty fine recap!

Thank you so much for the recap. It’s nice to see that this drama is really popular in Korea even in overseas. Such a pity that all my spazz Kdrama freak friends are not all interested watching this beautiful drama. They’re more into romcom dramas instead of heavier plot dramas, which I don’t really fancy much about the former. Mine is like the opposite as the majority of viewers’ preference. So I’m glad to see that this drama receives so many loves from the viewers. fighting!

Hello samsooki,

How are you?, nice music, not to take for granted but you still has that in born humour to deliver your views and comments – bravo! .
Just a thought since – emissary Yong is very adamant to adopt prince seok kyeon (wangsom mama) then will STH bring along his new wife to China ?.( I know this is out off topic) and also just observing – the prince is cute, but not an active toddler, strange for that age.

Yes, besides the word Nammarita ……. now the words are “she cannot be allowed to live happily.. not when I am living like this…….. what drastic action will he take to pursue his goal.

In my opinion about STH (retired general), although was in exiled and also put in prison, he has not even plan his strategy for the young prince , just follow blindly his former teacher’s plan which is irrelevant now, that’s why in the above picture army personnel oneside and scholars/yangbans in the next row.

I’m not even watching Chuno but I like to see what samsooki’s up to, and always enjoy the commentary (and debate)… also I ‘heard’ there was some trouble and I was curious what on earth anyone could find to complain about with samsooki’s recaps… ???!

@ samsooki, great recaps! Sorry to see Jang Na Ra didn’t guest star in this episode for you, but I’m sure she’ll be along again soon…

After watching all these episodes of Chuno, I am impress with Lee Da Hae’s acting. She has grown as an actress, and this role shows her maturity. She no longer just smiling and looking silly like in “My Girl” and “Hello Miss”. Actually, I am very impress with all three leading actors. Now – the writing and character developments – let’s hope that will get better

The little prince, he is absolutely ADORABLE. He has grown so much since prince Hodong in Kingdom of the Wind.
