I must say I reaaaallyy understand your disappointment at the TV adaptation's 'fails'. The novel is waaaay better. I was pretty disappointed myself after finishing the TV drama. Alot of writing and even directing choices didnt make sense. Most of the chars were pretty flat, and not developed well enough imo. Acting was fine thou, even pretty good (esp. SYJ's! *fangirl squeal*) I had expected so much more ..and tried to brush it off as "the more hyped I was over the show, the harder for it to live up to expectations" but now I know.. PT the novel is prime rom-com material. Only a few people have the power to mess things up - *eye balls the PD, scriptwriter, editor ...* Its a pity really. Why did it all go so wrong? *signs* Nonetheless PT the TV drama is not that bad, just could have been so much more.
