Rawr! The preview video is out for The Housemaid‘s remake, and it’s pretty damn sexy. The music, the ambiance, the juxtaposition (literal and figurative) of Jeon Do-yeon‘s sly maid character — with those sneaky sidelong glances! — and Seo Woo‘s young wife character… I have a feeling I may not feel a ton of sympathy for Lee Jung-jae‘s cheating husband character but his magnetism abounds. He’s always been confident and sexy, but he’s even more so here.
The Housemaid will release in theaters on May 13.

lee jung jae is smokin’ hereee. i’ve always found him to be incredibly attractive and sexy even though he doesn’t have conventional good looks. jeon do yeon is also looking incredibly sultry with a little dash of crazy mixed in (wait…scratch that, with a WHOLE lot of crazy mixed in). i’m excited to see this and thanks a bunch for the link to the original movie…totally watching that.

This is one of the best trailers I’ve seen. Lee Jung-jae’s smokin hot and Jun Do-yeon.. wow.. I don’t think anybody can replace her in this movie. Well, Lee Jung-jae too.. the perfect cast.

Definately a compelling trailer! I’m not always interested in Korean movies (read just way way way picky) compared to Korean dramas. Now I think I’ll definately be looking around for this. I second all the “hot, steamy, I need to take a cold shower” comments! Granted, it doesn’t help I keep replaying the trailer lol.

I’ve been excited to watch this remake ever since I first heard about it, so finally, out of curiosity, I followed the link you provided and finished watching the original. Really great, suspenseful movie… I’m not surprised it’s such a well known classic. Though the “end” had me scratching me head. It was a definite WTF moment, lol. But now, more than ever, I’m *really* looking forward to the remake. The way they’ve changed the story and characters is really intriguing, and the trailer looks fantastic.
