The first cast promos and stills have already come out for My Country Calls, and now we have a couple more of one of the drama’s stars, Clazziquai singer Horan in her acting debut. Horan plays a skilled spy in the upcoming KBS romantic comedy, whose Eun-seo character offers up a stark contrast to the heroine, a low-level policewoman played by Lee Soo-kyung.
Horan said, “At first, I felt some pressure at being called ‘goddess of the intelligence agency.’ But that is who Eun-seo is, and if I am to become her, I have to take care of my appearance. So I jumped into it and worked on maintaining my appearance — so far in my life I’ve never put so much effort into things like skin care, full-body massages, and exercise. I’m investing a lot of time into these things to become a little more like Eun-seo.”
She added, “I have to create Eun-seo’s exterior appearance before filming begins, so that once we get into the shooting and I’m in front of cameras I can focus on showing Eun-seo’s inner thoughts and on acting.”
My Country Calls will be a Monday-Tuesday drama that premieres on May 10.

Horan looks AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS here. Not that she wasn’t gorgeous before. I love her voice – we need more voices like hers in K-Pop – and I’ll be watching out for her acting debut. She sure looks like a “goddess of an intelligence agency”! ^^
I think she looks really really lovely… her hair looks soft and it also soften her features quite a bit, recall she had bangs in one of them Clazziquai related stuffs…. it makes her look tough and…electronica… ^^ Given the genre of Clazziquai stuffs… This is really sweet and pretty, really differentiate her from her singer persona!

Wow! Horan looks almost completely diff. from when Clazziquai did “Wizard of Oz” (great song, btw) – and that was only last year.
