Here are the latest stills from Han Ji-hye‘s newest project, a 26-episode Chinese television series titled 天堂繡 (천당수 in Korean), which translates roughly to (correct me if I’m wrong) “Heavenly Embroidery.” That refers to the fact that Han plays a woman with exceptional embroidering skills; she is a Korean who goes to China in search of her mother. The stills reflect the sadness and pain the character harbors as a result of this estranged relationship.
Han is currently filming the drama in China. She’ll have a movie release before the drama does, the highly anticipated action-historical project Like the Moon Escaping From Clouds, which opens on April 29. To promote the film while working on the drama, Han will keep a tight schedule as she travels back and forth between China and Korea.

LOL….so I was wondering who the actor is( Lu Yi).He’s famous in China and married to another actress Bao Lei,who starred in Bratty Princess…and lo and behold,what caught my eyes…theme song,sung by no other than JNR. Now,it’s 745pm PST.let’s see how long before certain someone’s radar rings….if it does,hehe

Almost can’t recognize him at all (@_@) I used to watch several films of his. He was quite good looking and… fit about… a decade ago (T_T) – sorry, I haven’t watched any Chinese dramas for ages. He looks much older now

Why is it that he looks so old in these stills? WCMY is only 2 years old (made in 2008) and he still looked pretty fit in there, so these photos puzzle me a bit.

Wow – from the stills he does look older than 34! But it could just be the angle and the way that the lighting and the make up is done on him. So it’s hard to really know.
I only watch wu-xia c-dramas due to lack of time but I do wish HJH good luck in breaking into the Chinese market.

I totally disagree with those who commented that the dude in this drama looks like Jo Hyun Jae. JHJ is a lot more handsome and a lot younger than this guy! Maybe, those who commented that the dude looks like JHJ miss him so much already that they see his handsome face in other guys. Don’t worry people, JHJ will be released from his military duties in a little over 2 months time!!!
