After a fair amount of bouncing around and being bumped from broadcast schedules, SBS’s Bad Guy is finally locked in to a timeslot: It will premiere in two weeks, following next week’s finale of Prosecutor Princess.
As previously mentioned, Bad Guy encountered some trouble when its original May airdate was taken over by Kim Sun-ah’s I Am Legend, and Bad Guy found itself bumped to August (though it hadn’t gotten a firm premiere date). However, when Kim quit that drama, I Am Legend found itself suddenly adrift and needed more time to recast and prepare, allowing for Bad Guy to move back.
The Kim Nam-gil vehicle has attracted viewers’ interest due to his star-making turn in last year’s Queen Seon-deok, where he pretty much stole the show. This will also likely be the last project he films before he’s called to his mandatory military service. Co-starring Han Ga-in, Oh Yeon-soo, and Kim Jae-wook, the drama has already been sold to Japanese broadcaster NHK for a 2011 broadcast.
To which I say: Yay! I’ve been intrigued by this drama since watching its preview, and could really dig something dark and suspenseful right about now. Here’s to hoping it’s good.

well, i can’t lie and say that i’m not disappointed PP isn’t getting an extension but maybe that’s for the better…
as for Bad Guy!!! i am SO looking forward to it! kim nam gil is the highlight in particular and kim jae wook doesnt hurt either… ^^ as for Han Ga In, um… witch yoo hee was a terrible project so i sure hope she can impress me and show that she’s capable in this drama…

bjfdldfdsk YAY. here’s hoping the story is good enough emotionally as well as plotwise to be as awesome as it should with that dreamy cast. it’s pretty easy to develop an emotional attachment to an unoriginal/cliched romcom with loveable characters, much harder to be invested emotionally with the more stylish/action-y/plot-driven genre. ngl, expectations are high. <3

i hope in the near future, Kim Nam Gil and Kang Ji hwan will colaborate in a drama together. It will be a hot-packed and talented-packed drama because they are both superb actors….

Sigh. Kim Nam Gil is suffering from hernia, and he needs surgery. But because the show got moved up, he’s delaying surgery. When he appeared at Jang Dong Gun’s wedding, he was visibly not well. I just hope he’s able to endure the shoot.

Thanks for the link to the preview of this drama. Have been seeing the name of it but, wasn’t exactly attracted to it by the poster but, after watching the preview it has me very intrigued.
Usually the first thing that strikes me is the name and then the description / summary of the story, and if I do not like the beginning of the first episode then I think twice before I keep watching it.
I am one of those that actually dig for the scenery in every drama I watch, and this shouldn’t have picked a better place to film it, Japan for its culture, night life, the monstrous buildings and Jeju-do for its unique nature.
Thanks for sharing. I am not sure I have watched dramas or movies with the actors in it but, I am hoping for great portraits and the develope of each characters.
This has so much potential. It could be the best drama of the year. Very excited.
