While I'm glad that the fact that there won't be an extension means less chance of repetitive angst in the last four episodes, I'm also a tad disappointed just because the plot developments in the past two episodes I believe could have provided enough material for an extension. However, it's nice that they're sticking to the original schedule, even if it is kind of against their will. =]

Anyway, I hadn't heard anything about a strike. What's the issue?

Well, it kinda blew to pieces the "187 campaign" Grace of Jersey wants us to start, but I've always said that if the quality is going to suffer because of an extension, then let's NOT have an extension.

I'm happy with a 16-ep high quality series. :)

Yay! i think that's better too. They're already a couple so all they could do is make Kae-in go back and forth between Jin-ho and Chang-ryul, which gets boring pretty fast. Yay! (again) :)

LMH proved without any doubt that he's no one hit wonder. I am so proud of him. Looking forward to his next project already. It would be so great if he would team up again with my girl crush Lee Min Jung.

yay! even though the prospect of the last two episodes airing next week saddens me :( I've loved this drama so much! I'm happy though, cos it will round out nicely, and they won't have to make up some ridiculous storyline to get rid of Kim Ji-Suk when he leaves for his military service.

@ivyrose MBC workers have been striking for a couple of weeks, and i'm guessing the network has another drama lined up after PT that would make an extension difficult

i guess this would be best, since the drama has been nicely paced till now. I just want more JH-GI's moments.... without the bitch IH hoovering at the background!!!

I prefer LMH with someone his age or older. It makes him hotter. That incredible kiss with SYJ ......I don't think it's possible with younger girls. Somehow I get the feeling the younger the girls the more tepid the kiss.

My theory on why Kdrama kisses are so anticlimatic is the build up to it is so great (Kdramas are so good at Romance) so you always feel let down when the kiss happens. It's just the opposite with TW dramas. They do over the top silly stuff that almost makes you laugh but the hot romantic kisses make up for it. And Japanese dramas .....everything is so restrained right from the beginning- ....actually I don't really care for Japanese romcoms. Having said that, I am looking forward to Takuya Kimura's next. He's in a league of his own.

i think this is a good idea. i was really considering the 20 episodes, but as the story developed, i just wanted a 16 episode story. but that means next week is the finale :( personal taste is a good k drama, i think keeping it with 16 is safer than extending it, especially if they haven't made the choice by now.

I was totally dreading it too.

No extension pro's and con's:

Pro: we don't have to sit and watch the storyline be dragged one. i think the writers can very much leave the audience happy with the initial 16 episodes.

Con: NO MORE LEE MIN-HO!!!!!!! (for now)

And yet... I'm crying on the inside. Because the drama is picking up soo much, and LMH and SYJ are just SOOOO cute together. *cries* Though I know that quality is ensured this way, I'm rejuctant to let it go...

I'm glad that the extension may not happen because I hate when storylines drag on unnecessarily or when writers decide to create additional storylines which are not relevant to the story in order to fill the next 2 or 4 episodes. But, the sad thing is that the drama is ending next week and there will be no more Lee Min Ho to stare at.

Sad for me TT_TT. I love the couple and want to see more of them.

But if they haven't decided by now, it would be better to stick with the original 16ep.
Good thing the show end next week, I can put my life back together( after been distracted and stayed longer at night watching the drama).

After ep13, I think better finish it with 16eps so it will stay as a good drama. I hope they will give us a nice happy ending though, so our heart will stay intact after its finale. Sad to say good by to the couple next week. Sob..sob

Acting rate for me, SYJ =A++ and LMH= A+(imo ,SYJ contributes to LMH improvement)

Yes, no extension. The whole point of having more extension to add more anxiety for the audiance - with the remaining epi. to film, the screenwriter can do a better job of making the story more flowing. I too is with JB and I think the majority, it is better to leave with only 16 sp.

I have a mixed feeling about this. Either way, I am happy to see this drama went well for now. So yay!

@24 Sonam-- Your theory about kdrama kisses makes a lot of sense. So many disappointing kisses, yet the romance of many dramas are not affected...

In fact, my favorite kiss is in Episode 13, when Jeon Ho kisses Kae-in's back. What I love about that kiss is the way Lee Min Ho looks at Son Yeh Jin's back before he kisses it. That look of "my God, you are a beautiful, beautiful woman." Sexy and tender. That kiss recalls early Kimura Takuya in its feline deliberateness.

Lee Min Ho still has room to develop as an actor, especially with his comic timing. But his star presence and soulfulness is well beyond his age.

Yeah! Better to end it well on a high note and we'll have nice memories to store in our hearts.

We do not want to have a situation of 'Enough, tis not so sweet now as it was before.'

To me SYJ really brings out LMH's mature side of acting. Great chemistry between those 2. I know that heaps of people love BBF but I didn't feel any chemistry between LMH and the lead actress (sorry can't remember her name).

@jetsu i also think lee minho and goo hyesun didn't have chemistry that's why i enjoyed watching kim bum & kim so eun more than the two leads. i was even hesitant to watch PT at first because LMH didn't impress me in BBF. good thing i gave PT a chance and discovered a beautiful couple in lee minho & son yeh jin. awwww, im all for the extension!

NO, I WANT MORE OF JIN-HO & GEA-IN, they need to think of some ways to bring them back, two episode of extension is good enough. I really don't want to say good bye to them for good...

Although Im glad the dvd will be out sooner and can watch PT in a big screen and its entirety without it buffering or telling me to download something...its bittersweet because then after next week there will be no more new romantic scenes of jin ho and gae in that will make us giggle like a 12 yr old waaah!!!

I dunno....Dal Ja's Spring was 22 ep and I couldn't get enough of it, it felt too short for me....Plus, it is at its 12th ep already but still has issues of the house, the dad-daughter r/ship, the char minho is playing could dev more....not forgetting wedding bells!
