It’s kind of hilarious to see the goofy side of Kim Nam-gil coming out on the set of his drama Bad Guy, since it’s a thriller-melodrama with a darker edge. These photos make up a sort of “before and after” set with the first image showing Kim in character as the bad guy out for blood and revenge, and the second showing off his lighter side.
I remember thinking Kim had a dry sense of humor back in Lovers (when he was acting under the name Lee Han), and his Bi-dam character in Queen Seon-deok had a brash, funny side as well. Makes me wonder how he’d do in a straight comedy…

i haven’t gotten the chance to watch Bad Guy yet but i definitely will later on…i still need to finish Cinderella’s Sister (i kind of lost my love for the drama in the middle of the drama though…i miss the teenage years in the drama). Dong Yi is pretty good too ^.~

does no one remember him as geum soon’s (han hye jin’s) deceased husband in be strong geum soon?? he was such a sweetie there, innocent and naive. i’m so surprised that his image nowadays is suave, sexy and a little bit dangerous, because he was just so… cute back in BSGS. and then he was replaced by ajusshhi (kang ji hwan) in geum-soon’s heart, and i all but completely forgot about him. well that is, until now. lol.

Woo….I remember him…I started searching when people start mentioning that he was in Guem Soon. I was like…no don’t kill of the character (he had like the guts to marry & like have a kid all at the same time…he’s the man, man) and than they gotta kill him off. I was like -.-
Than kang ji hwan came along with his colourful ties & over-the-top liking of guem soon & all was forgotten. Until now that is…A;LL HAIL THE MOUSTACHE!

He was Hee Jin’s Dr friend in MNIKSS. He shows up in at least 3 episodes – episode 3 at about 11 and 1/2 minutes in; in episode 8 about at 10 minutes in and then at 11 minutes in; and then in episode 14 briefly at about 43:30 minutes in.
Um…not that I particularly noticed ::whistles suspiciously::
ok, really I’ve seen MNIKSS a bunch of times, and I’ve got a good memory for some things. Comes in handy at times. His character actually has a name, and if I went back and looked…probably ep 3, Hee Jin calls him by name.
After watching just a few episodes of Bad Guy, I’m kind of able to see his funny side in a few scenes… (one example is when he says “Thank you” in Japanese to Jae In’s sister)
