Lee Bo-young has been added to the cast of the already star-studded Athena: Goddess of War, wherein she plays the daughter of the president. Road No. 1 premiere numbers lower than expected
Road No. 1 premiered this week, and despite all the fanfare over its cast and 13 billion won budget, the first two episodes brought in a 9.2% and 9.1%, respectively. Not horrible numbers, but lower than hoped, certainly. Especially considering that competitor drama Baker King Kim Tak-gu on KBS climbed even higher with a 27.1%... More »

Elle’s interview with Coffee House team
SBS’s Coffee House is currently on hold till next week; two weeks were postponed due to World Cup coverage. This Elle interview with Park Shi-yeon and PD Pyo Min-soo actually came out last month — just before the drama aired — but I figured this would be a good time to get in a dose... More »

I’m sure you’ve noticed girlfriday‘s presence on this blog, what with her witty recaps and zippy commentary. I know you can’t see her stylin’ fashion sense, but trust me, she’s got that too. I decided it was about time I exploited her talents offered her an expanded role in the site; from henceforth, she’ll be... More »

Seo Shin-ae on the set of Fox Child
Really, my favorite thing about this image from Gumiho: Tale of the Fox’s Child is that wonderfully disgruntled grumpyface on Seo Shin-ae. Aw! It’s like a wee puppy trying to look menacing; you just want to cuddle it, even if it looks like it wants to bite you. We’ve already seen the stills of Kim... More »
