Actor Jung Kyung-ho (Smile, Ja Myung Go) is holding the first fanmeeting of his career this weekend, which is also an early birthday party (he turns 27 on August 31, and the event occurs on the 1st). It’ll take place on Sunday afternoon at the SeongAm Art Center in Kangnam, Seoul.
Jung has been acting since 2004, but his newfound popularity mostly comes from the comic family drama Smile opposite Lee Min-jung last year. His management company, N.O.A Entertainment, explained that ever since that drama, his fans have been requesting fanmeetings.
Jung, who been preparing for the event for the past month, said, “I thank all my fans, who always treat me with sincere affection. I’ve wanted to get a little closer with them through an event like this, and I’m very glad to get this opportunity, thanks to my fans. I want to have the best time with them, and I’m extremely excited about it.”

He was soooo lovable in Smile, so unlike his previous roles. He was too whimpy and bratty in “I’m Sorry I Love You” and I didn’t notice him much in “Time of Dog and Wolf”. It’s possible that his chemistry with Lee Min-jung was the trick. Hope he has fun at the fan meeting. Go Jung Kyung-ho!!!

Smile, You definitely won me over, because I really didn’t like Jung Kyung-ho much prior to that. He didn’t appeal to me in TBDAW at all and I absolutely despised him after MiSa (because I hated Yune so much). But all that was forgotten when he played the most adorable, nerdy, type B guy there ever was in Smile. And his chemistry with Lee Min-jung was off the charts!

Glad he’s getting recognized more now. Like everyone else, I loved him (along with Min Jung) in Smile, You. Though for the first time I saw him was back in 2005. I spent 5 year searching for his name and here we are. I hope Min Jung can make it to the meeting, that’d be übercute!

I love this guy! A versatile actor imo but Smile def. was my favorite drama from him. His acting along with his chemistry with Lee Min Jung was unnaturally natural haha. I would love to be there for his first fanmeeting. Here’s hoping for another great project and hopefully more fan meetings!

Unlike moat fans, I fell in love with Jung kyung ho in Ja Myung Go. He really showed maturity as a character in the role of prince Hodong and plus he is uber hot all the time. Everyone should go watch Ja Myung Go. Although children play a big role in 1-14 episodes, it is totally worth it. It builds to the complexity and depth of the character. Plus the kids are damn talented. If you are looking for a masterpiece of a drama, watch Ja Myung Go. You will not be disappointed.
