First stills are out for spy drama Athena, but rather than high action we get a romantic interlude between the leads, Jung Woo-sung and Su Ae. This kiss scene was filmed on July 11 in Vicenza, Italia, and takes place after the two teammates complete a mission and make a successful escape.
This shoot kicked off the drama’s location filming in Italy, where the production team will be until the end of July. Other Italian cities where they will film include Padova and Belluno.
Gotta say: I love how Jung Woo-sung and Su Ae look together. (One of the reasons I didn’t engage completely with IRIS was because I didn’t feel the connection between Kim Tae-hee and Lee Byung-heon, but I can feel it from these two.)
Athena premieres in November.

LOL, this is my last post. I commented using dismallyhappy, when my name is luraaa. It’s these pictures, I tell you, that has the oozing chemistry of the two and the hotness of Jung Woo Sung. I completely forgot my name when I saw these stills.
I totally agree with javabeans; i didn’t really feel the connection between KTH and LBH in IRIS. As good looking the two were, something was just missing with their pair-up. When I saw these stills, I actually got excited. I think I can actually give Athena a try.

And I completely agree with you regarding the lack of chemistry between Lee Byung Hyun & Kim Tae Hee. There just wasn’t strong enough or interesting enough and in fact, I wished Lee Byung Hyun & Kim So Yeon’s sizzling chemistry were explored more! ONLY IF but the writers screwed that up by wasting Kim So Eun’s character. She played his fiddle who just followed him rather than being more substantial. Oh well.
Hopefully in the movie, it’ll be much better!

Wow so happy! I did not watch IRIS cos I do not particularly like Kim Tae Hee but I will be watching out for this since both So-ae and Jung Woo Sung are among my favourite actors.

I’ve nevers een Jung Woo Sung in a drama. The only time I saw him was in Daisy and loved it loved it. Can’t wait. I agree with JB on Kim Tae Hee and LBH. LBH is one of my favorites of all time and yet I could not get into Iris, totally ruined it for me with KTH. I don’t know why, I don’t think she has much chemistry with her lead actors, and she is a two dimensional actress, or maybe one. But it’s too bad because LBH has such great chemistry with his leading ladies. But I can totally dig JWS and Su Ae.

How can we tell the chemistry by looking at the stills? I think LBH and KTH are great together and I do feel love in the air. Will have to watch Athena with motion before I can say whether Jung Woo-sung and Su Ae are a good match.

Oooh…….I notice that some of people’s comment about Iris — I am lucky that I still didn’t watch this drama IRIS because I don’t know how I felt about these casts look so okay to me —- BUT it’s NOT same as all of COOL & awesome cast in Athena make me sooo exciting! I really love action drama, of course. ^___^
I have a feeling that their would be more romantic scenes here than the first one. Jung Woo Sung has build a reputation for not only potraying tough characters, but he also build his career as a romantic lead.
