Lee Shi-young has lined up her next role, which is in a short MBC drama called What Do You Really Want? She stars as the daughter to a washed-up boxer in the two-episode special, which will begin filming later this month.
The production side stated Lee’s participation as a done deal, while her representation gave a more tentative “We’re considering it” answer. However, given that they didn’t deny the report, I’d say chances are likely that this is close to a finalized deal.
Another of the characters that has yet to be finalized is a has-been idol singer, and the producers are looking at a real-life singer to fill the role. The drama doesn’t yet have a slot on MBC’s schedule, however.
Lee burst on to the scene in 2009′s Boys Before Flowers, then rose to mainstream popularity after appearing on variety program We Got Married. She’s become known for her frank personality and has been recognized for her acting chops, and is coming off a pretty successful role in KBS’s recent Birth of the Rich. The drama itself got mixed reviews, but she was praised for her portrayal of a spoiled chaebol.

Super Junior´s Kim Heechul- he´s been doing a lot of the same characters lately unfortunately = rich spoiled but cute guy… maybe this could be a change of image?
Super Junior´s Sungmin or Yesung both have just finished the stage adaptation of Hong Gil Dong which was a musical… I don´t know how good they are acting, but people seemed happy… And Sungmn was already in a drama called Sea of Sisters– albeit with a very small role.
ex- DBSK´s XIah Junsu- again don´t know how good he is, but he was apparently succesful on the stage, and he has a pretty awesome voice.
Super Junior´s Kibum- appeared in Sharp 2, Rainbow romance(both with Kim Heechul), and then Snow Flower, Chunja´s Happy Events, and recently in the movie Jumunjin.
Super Junior Choi Siwon- this would be awesome but he´s busy filming with Athena and he also has concerts to participate in so I don´t think it´s possible
2PM- Taecyeon- recently in Cinderella Unni- don´t know if he fits with cute Lee Shi Young…
and I´m beign fail right now because no others come to mind… aaah!
Yeah, Lee Shi-young was great in Birth of the Rich.

@k-lover I didn´t forget about Hongki(FTIsland), but like you said he just looks so young to me, that it would be like a noona kind of relationship and I don´t think they´re looking for that… still he´s pretty good actor.
ah shi young… I so LOVE her in WGM… and in the BIRTH of a RICH MAN she was the best… Good i so love her… so happy that she will get the role after being under the radar after her last drama…
i say get JUngMin of ss501, he has acted in the theater before for Grease, and he was fantastic there…
i think they would look together since Shiyoung looks baby face and jungmin looks matured for his age…
but i also agree that Heelchul would be a good choice…
