Breaking News: It has just been deemed that Rain has probably lied about being at least TWO CENTIMETERS taller than he actually is.
I know. This changes everything.
Rain was captured in the photograph below with Runaway co-star Lee Jung-jin, off the set while in Japan. This has spurred some controversy with netizens who have pointed out that Lee Jung-jin’s profile says he’s 183cm, while Rain has always touted his 185cm height. Clearly, someone’s not so good at math.
Fans who have actually met Rain in person are putting up comments that he’s at least 180cm, while some reports are insisting that it’s the camera angle that’s creating the optical illusion that Lee is taller.
Okay, everyone say it with me now…WTF?
I know that Korean celebrities have all sorts of profile information out there, and that fans feel ownership over such information, but the level of betrayal and counter-support over two centimeters is…just…
Now, if they were talking about a 2cm difference ELSEWHERE…that’d be a different story.

what’s the big deal? 2cm less of 185cm is still tall in height… no matter how tall he is it doesn’t make him less as a person. he still looks cute & hot, and is great in everything he does..whether in making music, in acting , business, etc. @_@ and what’s with the headline? “fans around the world cry because Rain lied about his height” …seriously?! then why am i not crying here? xD and as i’ve observed it seemed like, instead it actually made the fans cracked up and laugh because this news is rather ridiculous.

I went to his (awfully short) press conference in Jakarta few months ago, and the guy was surprisingly smaller (and shorter) than I expected him to be. My German friend told me in shock “He’s average, I thought he supposed to be a lot taller, he’s not even 6 ft”.
Most of the reporters in that event were also surprised (and a bit disappointed) luckily I’m not his fan, so it doesn’t matter.

I don’t think that rain’s merit should be judge by his height, and i;m not even a fan. now if memory serves me right, in statistics we often use standard deviations, so i’ll put it in to use.
if Rain said he is 185 cm but since people are now saying his 183cm then using the default value of +/-2 SD then i therefore conclude he is between 181 – 187 cms. i’m a genius!!!!

Please be realistic folk. Think about your height and weight measured from different scales at hospital / school / home / ID Card. They all not exactly the same and normally swing/differ about 1-2 cm./kilos.
My only man “So Ji Sub ssi” is 182 cm. and he is at least 3 cm. smaller than Rain.

yes I dont think he is 185, especially after seeing him in ninja assassin you could tell he is probably around 180. Maybe after wearing platform shoes like some other actors he is 185. , His height doesnt even matter, its not like he will be any less talented if he were shorter, I just wish he and others wouldnt lie about it
