I'm watching it only because I've watched all the other versions, even the really old Itazura Na Kiss one. I'd probably enjoy it, even if KJH doesn't do well because I'm just the type that does so.

Now i want to watch this drama because of Jung So Min.

i wasn't really interested with this drama because i was such a big fan of the taiwanese series. but seeing the stills, i'm now on board to watch this. the girl looks perfect for the role. just like ariel lin (taiwanese) was perfect for it. the kim hyun-joong looks like the character. i have yet to see if he can actually pull through in portraying the character. but however he acts, i'm still excited to see this. hope i don't get disappointed because i just love the taiwanese version of this.

Oh snap, I managed to stay away from Boys over Flowers and the likes in the past, but I might just have to watch this because it seems like Hyunjoong and Somin seem to fit their respective roles so well! I didn't believe it would be possible, but now I see it. I watched the Taiwanese version when it came out and really liked it as well (or liked it enough, at least), so I hope this can live up to the hype as well as my own expectations =)

Kim Hyun Joon looks so tired in this photo... I still don't think he's going to deliver a good character, but I'm going to watch it anyway (just to compare it with the Taiwanese version! Ariel Lin was VERY silly, to the point that I could not stand her, and Joe Cheng was OK, so let's see what the Koreans are going to show us ^^).
Since I'm keeping my expectations very low, Playful Kiss might turns out as a good surprise!

By the way, some were comparing Kim Hyun Joon's debut with Park Shi Yeon's (who is doing an amazing job in Coffee House). I beg to differ as I'm rewatching My Girl now, and she was not as terrible as KHJ in BOF!

I had lost all my interest in the show 1) Lee Minho dropped out and/or denied he was part or it 2) the too many changes in cast.

I swore that I wouldn't watch, that I wasn't interested...but the pictures are appealing. And my interest is once again trigered.

I really hope it's gonnae be entertaining.

playful kiss...i do hope you will live up to the expectations and hype and deliver us with the romcom drama that we are expecting.

the taiwanese version was not perfect but its entertaining and the actors were really fun to watch.

i will keep my fingers crossed that kim hyun joong will be able to improve his acting skills because his role was at least given justice by its taiwanese counter part joe cheng.

jung so-min on the other hand seem to fit the part perfectly and cant wait to see how she would portray the role.

i will be approaching this drama with optimism and hoping that they would give life to this story in a wonderful ways.

They look good together and he already got the look down, I'm happy that they seem to be following the essence of the TW version even though I enjoy the original Japanese version as while. I have good vibes about the characters chemistry the still picture gives off heat, so I can't wait too seen the chemistry in motion. My biggest concern with this K drama remake was NOT characters but the storyline, this is differently a drama that needs the storyline to be great/good to be successful, I don't mean that Boys of Flower successful I mean "Giant" successful. Thinking a drama successful due to a lot of fan-girl girl watching for a handsome face is not success. A storyline that has depth and detail that makes you want to watch it again and again and when you do it just as good as the first time.

ISAWK is one of my favorite drama, I think I watch it 10 times and never get bored, if this remake not successful then due to many component's not just one person acting ability...fighting Playful Kiss cast.....

KIM HYUN JOONG looks so handsome...wish to high heavens that his acting improves because I'd dearly want to see him succeed as an actor!!! he's been compared to many inexperienced actors, who in time were able to prove themselves..despite the many criticisms hurled at them.
Was impressed with Jung So Min's acting in Bad Guy..so I guess, she'll carry this role splendidly...I think they have a good chemistry from the stills alone!!

I wasn't a huge fan of the Taiwanese version. The main female character was really super annoying. I am going to watch the first episode, because I have a slight crush on Kim Hyun-joong.

Now, I'm hoping they do a korean version of Hana Kimi.

I was really excited about Playful Kiss because it's one of my favourite stories -I liked Itazura na Kiss and the Taiwanese ISWAK is one of my all time fav shows - I've watched it like a gazillion times..Then I heard they were casting Kim Hyun Joong as the lead and I was pretty disappointed because he wasn't really on my list of possible choices - not that I don't like him, but his character in BBF was really too bland and not all that interesting, so he didn't leave much of an impression on me.. But surprisingly he actually seems to fit the role in these stills.. And Jung So Min looks adorably stupid- which is actually perfect. I'd have watched the show anyway, if only to see how it compares to the other versions, but now I'm actually looking forward to it..

Can someone please correct me if I am incorrect in my assumption. Is this a remake of It Started with a Kiss (tiwanese drama) with Aril Lin?? Is this supposed to be the Korean version of this really popular and I do say really funny and awesome drama??

he is still 24 years old, born in 1986, and lee min ho, 23 born 1987, just younger 1 year than him???
i think you just mad, because of lee min ho didn't in this this drama.

and you must know many other high school's cast older than hyun joong, the one play role as kinchan is 25 years old (born 1985) , and one of oh hani friend is 27 years old(born 1983)

i think if lee min ho play in this role, i will get bored because he always play as cocky person in his drama.
so i really LOVE KIM HYUN JOONG IN THIS DRAMA, because he really suitable for naoki's character much, i like jong so min too.
