Most law firms have a specified number of pro bono hours that they are required to do by law, and that'll only get you some kids fresh out of law school. However, as they are kids and you are... well... you, I think that they will definitely take your case and give it their full effort.

Other than that, as a mythical creature you do of course qualify as a minority, especially if, as the oldest Santa legends have it, you are of Turkish background. The NAACP has many highly paid lawyers that loooooove to take minority cases, although if you happen to be on the outs with them politically due to whatever reason, the Hebrew and Christian Alliance happens to be fond of you and other Christmas and Easter related minorities. They haven't teamed up since the famous Amish private school case, but for you I'm sure they'd do a reunion tour.

And I'm still in school, not quite a lawyer.:P

UGH I'm just so frustrated with this drama. It has good music, looks beautiful, is edited well, and has actresses/actors that can actually act (even though Han Ga In is kinda ehhh). But the writing. OMG. Just shoot me. I always feel bad for actors/actresses that get dragged to hell and back because the writers aren't competent. T_T

I think you have a misunderstanding about santas origin. Its Saint Nicolas who was from Turkey but he wasn't a native, he was a priest who did missionairy work in Turkey. And He returned to and lives in Spain and comes around december 6 every year to give presents to the children.

And I kind of like those long wordy lyrical ironic cynical headnailing critical funny etc...recaps.

I have heard the theory you mentioned of Santa's origins, and as he is a mythical creature can't we agree that he has multiple origins? Haven't you heard of the one where he's Norwegian? And according to the Catholic diocese, as he is the patron saint of sailors, children, and unmarried women, don't you think that it's possible that he could be from more than one place and combined into one mythical legend?

I used the origin story of Turkey (the one where he is a rich merchant who happens to walk by a poor cottage where three unmarried sisters are crying because they have no dowry and so he throws gold coins into the laundry hung by the chimney) because it supported my theory of his being a minority. In Law School, you learn that actual facts are not as important as what you can prove, and as I wanted to prove that he was a minority I used that story.

I've never posted before, but I just can't help myself today. Recently, I have been working late hours trying to finish this stupid presentation, so I was a little delirious when I read this recap (which I found so confusing that I decided to read the comment thread to figure out what was going on). When I figured everything out, I laughed; I cried; I realized I've gone crazy. Now, I feel compelled to voice my support for Girlfriday. What can I say, you make me giggle like a school girl...(Although, I guess, technichally speaking, I am a schoolgirl)

Perhaps we could have Santa's take in the upcoming recaps as well?
