Yeah, I hope the family will still be endearing, even if a little too crazy at times. Does anyone know if Playful Kiss is only from ISWAK or also the second part, They Kiss Again? I really hope it somehow incorporates them both because the story really comes together with the 2 and the characters develop in the sequel a lot. Also, funny how it's titled PK but they only kissed like, twice or so in the first? It was mostly about Zhi Shu being an ass and finally realising his fondness for the girl. Only in the second part was there real lovin' and believable problems.
Anyway, let's hope this will be a good watch and KHJ's acting will be tolerable, after all!

He conveys nothing in the eyes, all the real actors in the photo do; as well as the lead actress even though she is a rookie too.

Iswak was amazing. It made me laugh and cry. It was longer than my normal drama, but I lOOOOooOOOoved it! I remember in ISWAK, the little brother was this fat little boy that was sooo dark, quiet, and weird. There was a really funny scene, when he and ariel first meet. He thinks she's reallly really stupid. I know it's weird, but part of it that made it funny, was that the brother was so chubby and bug-eyed.

This younger brother for the Playful Kiss family seems sooo cute. He better still have the attitude.

Kind of feel sorry for KHJ as he seems a nice guy. I think his acting,esp. the eyes expression needs improving,which will come in time. Don't think he is ready for this lead role, as everyone is going to compare him to Joe Cheng,who did a good job in the Taiwan version. As to crazy families in kdrama, I am getting used to it. I thought Jandi's family in BOF were entertaining.

I'm keeping my faith to the director. I just hope he can control that plastic smile of KHJ. I mean, he shouldn't be showing any teeth at all, isn't it?

That what makes the drama unwatchable for me. ISWAK was horrible and it sets a bad example to women everywhere. a man who wants a meek, too stupid for words with no ambitions or self respect as a partner in life isnt a man worth a damn!!!

Nothing in the series made me understand why the drama became a hit b'cos the lead pair weren't in love with each other IMO: the girl had a huge crush and the guy just enjoyed all the attention he got from her without giving her anything back.

Well, this will continue to get interesting to anticipate. As Baek mama, she is pretty enough to convince me having 2 pretty sons, although not convincing enough as a yinyang wife Mrs.

I feel director Hwang is simply throwing off controversial press releases to reel in a bigger fish audience. I have a feeling my heart is gonna sink once I watch a stoic Baek Seung-jo in action. He's been all smitten w/ smiles lately, however the preparation for the worst grumpy guy genius is yet to reveal... save the best for last I say. I didn't fall for the lovey dovey Naoki, but fell for the anal grumpy genius 'transforming' into an ideal husband. This is my biggest anticipation!

Did you know that the little brother was on Star King with 4 other kids and they danced to sorry sorry and again and again. He was the best dancer out of them ^^ . I was impressed how good his solo of taegoon's call me was xD. So now he is an actor :)
