A week ago, we got a glimpse of Sohn Ye-jin‘s trip to the Netherlands, which she explored after shooting a spread for September’s issue of Singles.
Now we get to see images from that shoot, as well as more of the vacation photos of Sohn as she toured the sights. (Some of you eagle-eyed readers have noted that some of the photos in the previous post were shot in Belgium in addition to the Netherlands.)
The Singles photos were taken in Amsterdam and use a sexy, alluring concept, which is the opposite of the image she portrayed in her latest role, MBC drama Personal Taste. Personally, I’m more interested in the vacation photos, since the official shoot doesn’t much capture the flavor of the locale, as far as I can see. (It’s possible that other photos showcase more of the environs, but these hardly do.)

i hope there’s more pictures showing a little bit of the locale in her singles spread.. but usually, there’s not too many so sometimes i wonder why they even travel to such far off places to shoot a mag spread. lol

Yeah I like the ‘candid’ pictures better; it makes her look so much more approachable and … friendly. Like I could walk up to her and be like ‘Ye-jin (ssi), what’s up?’
But I also like that she can pull that off and still look great in a magazine spread.

i know right! seeing her personal pics make me think that her personality is close to kae-in’s in personal taste.
I like watching her in dramas. She is a very good actress plus she has great looks. First saw her in Personal Taste and now I watch her other previous dramas. She’s lovable and you know if she wants to, she can be super sexy but also can be the cute/gentle bunny type too.
i absolutely love her! shes amazing in A Moment to Remember (Literal translation, An Eraser in my Head). Even though it was a while back, everyone should go and watch that movie.
After Personal Taste, the 1st drama of her and also the last, will never watch any of hers again.
Just curiosity to see how better she would be with a professional photographer. She looks quite ugly in PT
Um…okay wow. You’re really rude. I can see that you were disappointed in Personal Taste but I don’t think you should judge her based on just one drama. She’s one of Korea’s top actresses for a reason. She’s recognized for her talent and her beauty. The biggest downfall for PT was the writing. Son Ye Jin was not the only person involved in the drama so you can’t put all the blame on her.

As for her acting, I don’t think I’ve ever called someone perfection and don’t think I will. But, most of PT’s shortcomings came from the plot and not so much from the acting. I thought her acting was much more entertaining that I’d expected.

So work and play all the same time? So did she go there w/ a work visa or……. there has been gossip about Korean celebs travelling under wrong pretenses although I blame their mgt. co. not the individual entertainer themselves at times.

I have been really into SYJ since personal taste and she is my recent favourite. She doesn’t have a straight off pretty face like Song Hye Gyo, but she just shines. I like people who can carry different styles and images and SYJ definitely is one of them. That girl look fab even wearing sneakers, not much girls can.
