The first poster is out for KBS’s Runaway (Plan B), and it’s a battle of the cocked guns and eyebrows as everyone puts on their fiercest Blue Steels. From left to right, we have Yoon Jin-seo and Lee Jung-jin as cops, Rain and Lee Na-young as the two leads, and Daniel Henney playing a devoted protector type (aka, The Henney).
In this romantic-comedy action drama, Rain plays a private detective who is approached by Lee Na-young, who hides her true motives while acting the part of client. They get caught up in a case involving a large amount of cash that went missing in the Korean War, and are chased through Asia by the two cops.
The drama has attracted a lot of interest not only for its cast but its writer-director pair, who last led KBS to ratings gold with their blockbuster sageuk action drama Chuno. It’ll air on Wednesdays and Thursdays after Baker King Kim Tak-gu wraps.

I dont get the hype around him either. Not a fan of his acting or his music. I like to watch him dance though. Henney looks “Hawt” in that suit.

henney looks soo mucher hawtter with the short hair..him longish hair look for the american drama three rivers ( i hope i got the name right..) made him look old in a not so flattering way…yep he does look sharp suited up!

I think a local Filippino TV station ABC 5 has a stake in Runaway so it will probably be shown in ABC 5. It will be dub in Filippino but I always prefer watching dramas in their original voices. Even if I have to read the subs more emotional connection that way.
I love their real voices too. Really ABC 5 had the rights? They are quite fast it is not on broadcast yet they already bought it.
yes! they are co-producer of this drama.. that’s why casts of runaway had a presscon in tv5 and that’s why they are the sponsor of rain’s concert here in the philippines..
i’ve never seen LNY act before, so maybe i will watch this. but school just started and there are way too many dramas, including (yay!) Mary stayed out all night and playful kiss. i hope it balances out, heh.

A friend of mine saw Rain in Alabang Muntinlupa while shooting some scenes for Runaway. She took some close up pictures and she said that he was so hot and charming!

Runaway and Athena have different genres. Runaway seems to be more comedy + actions & Athena seems to be more serious + actions. After watching teaser trailers of 2 dramas, I prefer Runaway because the story line looks fresh, and I enjoy more watching comedy & actions. I like how they make Rain to be an arrogant, playboy but cool detective in this drama. He is like a funny version of James Bond. Athena is cool, but the storyline is not new at all. I like both dramas, so it’s good thing that they don’t have to compete at the same time
Rain looks a bit dumb in this poster. Maybe is just me.
Anyway just looking at this poster makes me feel that he’s the only star. I mean, the others just seem “background” to him. I hope this won’t be a too “rainism” drama.
Oh the teaser seems good though. I don’t like much Rain as a person, but I love him when he acts.

Yeah, I agree with the rare anti-Rain fans? Haha. He’s okay, but he’s kind of cheesy with his dance and stuff. There are some boundaries that guys are not supposed to cross and HE has definitely crossed it, which is why he’s a no-no for me. Nonetheless, I won’t refrain from watching something he’s in, JUST because I’m not his fan. I’ll give this a try (obviously) because I’m a huge rom-com fan. A little Henney won’t hurt me either, although I might die from seizures watching him. I like the poster, it has certainly done its job of attracting potential audience. The dark navy suits/black dresses or in that (weird) lady’s case a grey shirt, gives the vibe of an underground city feel to it but the sleekness of their clothes and the buildings in the background makes it more classy as oppose to “ghetto”. I just hope Rain doesn’t spread the cheese on this one, and hopefully Daniel has gotten better at acting than before. As for Lee Na Young, all she has to do is stand prettily beside Rain or Daniel. Although, I would like it if she comes out to be more than THAT.

It seems being mean to say this, but Rain look ugly in the poster, Daniel Henney looking good but I hope he not talking, because I can’t stand watching him “ACT”. The two women I never seen them before, but they seem get older look than the boys. The only one i feel excited about is LJJ, he look cool and can act.
They all decided to compete to see who is the most bad ass and Na Young wins because she just looks cool without even trying.
