Choi Jung-won’s trip to Kyushu

Actress Choi Jung-won (Wish Upon a Star) recently traveled to Kyushu, Japan, and has released these photos from the trip. She went as part of a road documentary program she shot with cable channel ETN, which followed her around as she went sightseeing.
One of the broadcast station staffers who accompanied her explained that although Choi has a very feminine and proper image from her dramas, she’s really more of a tomboy and was very open and lively with the staff. (Choi was bubbly and cute in her latest drama, Wish Upon a Star, but that was a departure from her pre-existing images from earlier roles like sageuk drama Kingdom of the Wind and the popular family series Infamous Chil Sisters.)
Choi was invited by the Kyushu Tourism Authority, and her itinerary consisted of a packed schedule touring the city. The documentary-style program airs on ETN on October 16.

I love the last picture. Something about the composition...the juxtaposition of her with her hair pulled back and popping something into her mouth and the camera guy slinging that camera around is just interesting.

Speaking of "the popular family series Infamous Chil Sisters," I am dying to finish the story. There are no subtitles anywhere for episode 21 on. TT_TT

she's looking so cute & thin? she didn't even send Kim ji hoon off? what's wrong with you Pal kang ssi? :) i really liked her in Stars with Kim ji hoon, hope they get together again when he gets back in 2 yrs & reunite in another drama as they really got a good chem.

you may find her beautiful and she's pretty in real but I cannot find her charming or attractive. for me, there is a missing thing for her to be feminen. just my own opinion :S

I thought she was very boring in Kingdom Of The Wind but she won me over in Wish Upon A Star. I hope she'll play another adorkable character in the future. It seems to fit her tomboy-ish personality and goofiness.

Really nothing she could do. The part was barely there. THAT part was a departure for her; she was spunky in Chili Sisters, and she got some popularity in China for that part.

I like her best in the first outfit too. Plus, the lighting is a lot better. It makes her look warm and friendly, whereas the ones below look like they were taken on a really cloudy day. Everything looks greyish.
