Secret Garden watchers will be familiar with Hyun Bin’s obsession (or rather, Joo-won’s) with his expensive, hand-stitched, sequined Italian tracksuit, which everyone else mocks as tacky and unfashionable. Despite the fact that Joo-won has been the butt of many jokes as a result of his Suit of Sparkles, he apparently can’t let go even when his soul has been transported into the body of Ha Ji-won, as we see in these teaser stills from the drama’s upcoming Episode 8.
Dying. Laughing.
I know some of you were hoping that once the bodies were switched, Joo-won would use his endless cash flow and sophisticated fashion sense to spiff up Ra-im’s tomboyish, casual wardrobe. I think we set our hopes too high.
What kills me (even more) is that given their size difference, Joo-won has either had to procure another designer sequined extravaganza, or he’s gone out of his way to retrieve his old one and then altered it to fit his new womanly shape.
This drama could do nothing but physical comedy gags between Hyun Bin and Ha Ji-won and I would be in heaven.
Secret Garden, which passed the 20% ratings threshold within four episodes, airs on Saturdays and Sundays. As if our weeks weren’t long enough.

this sparkly italian garb is just way too far from Ra Im’s fashion sensibilities that anybody close to her would immediately suspect that she is not her usual self at all. maybe at this point other people would already know about the switch and that is why JooWon is more open to wearing his fave jacket in Raim’s body?

Even without the sparkly, I think Jong-soo, Ra-im’s action school director, is beginning to sense that something is very wrong with both Ra-im and the arrogant pain-in-the-ass big shot CEO of LOEL Department Store. I think he’ll be the first to figure it out.

anyway, looking closely at the tracksuit (I can’t believe I did), it looks like the sparkly things don’t cover the fabric entirely and that her skin underneath shows… or it’s just a layer of skin-toned fabric…
funny how she wears it with conviction – much more than Hyun Bin did.

I think the track suit look so much better on HJW, I think they must have chosen the track suit with her in mind and then put Hyun Bin in it.
