Cha Tae-hyun goes carnie for Vogue

What is WITH the crazy fashion spreads lately? Did I win the lottery? I’ve certainly been a good girl this year, so maybe they’re early Christmas presents from Santa. All I know is, there’s definitely something in the water over at those magazine shoots. It’s like they’re just BEGGING for some snark. I mean, how can I not, when twin Cha Tae-hyuns are taunting me with their creepy carnie vibes?
But hey, if anyone’s going to sell “Out of a Straightjacket, Into the Circus” with panache, it’s Cha Tae-hyun.
I love that HE seems to love it, sanity be damned. But that’s what makes him such a winning actor, I suppose.
I like the old-timey carnival feel, and the outfits too (he looks especially good in that three-piece suit, below, with the angry tiger), but the twins give me the heebie jeebies. What? The Shining scarred me for life. I can’t help but think when I see the shot below, that Cha is probably the best dad ever, to a three-year old. I hope he had the sense to take that tiger home to his son.
He actually looks a few pancakes short of a stack in the one below. Anyone else hearing wind-up carnival music and getting a shiver down their spine?
I especially like this stunning final shot, which should be called “Scarecrow: Scared or Scary?”
The hilarious Everyman and box office king can be seen next in his supernatural comedy Hello Ghost, out Christmas week.

He married his highscool sweetheart for 13 years in 2006. he has a son and i think his wife got pregnant again recently. his best fren, a.k.a Kim Jong Kook sang at his wedding and when CTH came as a family outing guest, CTH called his wife to ask her how to cook (it was hillarious).

I love this shoot! He looks like he had fun with it. These shots just made me smile. These high fashion photo shoots are often so serious, but this one is like intentionally humorous, which is why I enjoy it! Haha especially the twins pic...what a goof!

when i watched speedy scandal i didn't even realize he was way over 30 years old, let alone married... if i'd known that while i watched the movie i would have done a lot less head scratching during it!! i couldn't make sense of why they'd cast two people who looked more like siblings than father and daughter lol. i thought he was around 26 then...
