Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US when retailers get in your face about buying stuff.
Did you buy stuff for Ramadan/Kwanzaa/Christmas/Hanukkah yet? You better get here now before we're out of batteries and all we got is Snuggies and you've ruined the holiday season!
Yeah and the sales aren't really worth it this year so I stayed home.
I haven't buy anything yet ! I'm the kind of girl that wait until the very last days before I find the perfect gift for my family and friends ! But I should hurry up : I found a gift for my dad, but it will take some time to prepare !
Hahaha..that is just so cute. Did you wrestle many fangirls just to get that? I will try to venture laters but am still too tired from Thanksgiving...will check what they are offering online though....
I lurve Secret Garden soooo much. Such a well-crafted show - everything is just top-notch, the storyline, the visuals, and of course, the acting.
Am I the only one who wants Ra Im to clock Joo Won though? If someone did that kind of stuff to me, if I had her Stuntwoman!Powers, he'd be in the ICU. Just sayin'.
Course, it's kdrama land...hahahaha. And jerkhood = hero.
Me too! hahaha. :) Is it true that there will be an episode broadcast tomorrow though? On soompi someone said there might be commentary on the North Korea conflict and was wondering if that would postpone SG too.
I totally agree with you! Especially after that department store fight where he was throwing stuff at her. Total exhibit of asshole-ery. (I'm making up my own words here) I would've decked him so hard. Binnie, I love you, but Joo-won is an ass.
Go on then, janna, since you're in a generous mood. I'll have the ones where his caricature's wearing a white tee and he's lifting it up so we can see his sekzi choco-abs!
Have to say im loving secret garden...their arguements are too hot for screen:P. bring on episode 5 & 6, and i'm hopining the body swap will happen this weekend...will love to see how explosive Ra Im will get :D
Can't believe it's already Friday!! I have no idea which way the week went. But I am glad it's sat tomorrow coz I absolutely cannot wait for the next couple of eps of secret garden!! ;0).
Ps JB. have u watched the last episodes of joseon X-files? I'v relied upon ur recaps so much so, that I need ur take on it to decide if I liked the ending or not lol!!
I'm afraid that I really didn't get the ending. Maybe it was lost in translation. It reminded me a little of the end of that Jodie Foster movie of many years ago (the one where she sends signals out into space)...
Hubby is being ushered out from house coz of Secret Garden (all I said was: "Go and play with your boys club and come back later, k..hun? oh? please..love ya!" *slammed the door*).
What? He bothered me with his "so what's the story hun? she's going to luvvve the guy rite? when is he going to get cancer? or is the girl going to get it?, maybe we should get some sandwich, I am kinda hungry, do you want beer hun?..." comments.
Happy Black Friday too to all you crazy shoppers out there. I am up exceptionally early for a day where I can technically sleep till noon... maybe i'll brave the mall in a bit too.. i love people watching, especially at the mall when everyone is fighting to get the very last of SOMETHING.
On the drama front - I have not picked up anything new yet, but I'm hearing fun things about MSOAN and Secret Garden... I'll have to wait a few more eps before jumping on those so I can marathon a few at once :) MGiaG really taught me how hard it was to wait a week at a time between eps haha.
Hope everyone in the States is having a good long weekend and everyone outside the states has a good upcoming weekend :)
Is it wrong of me to want to watch It's Okay, Daddy's Girl just to see Ha In Soo be evil in modern clothes? He sells it pretty well, minus the bug eyes. Although what would really be great is to have Song Joongki play a sexy, cruel, misunderstood, but gold-hearted lead. That's what I want for Christmas!
"Although what would really be great is to have Song Joongki play a sexy, cruel, misunderstood, but gold-hearted lead. That’s what I want for Christmas!"
I think.. THAT would totally be my Christmas wish also :)
I so want to see him in a leading role for a change..
Actually, I'm going to watch It's Okay Daddy's Girl for many reasons (the family drama-ish but modern storyline, warm daddy-daughter theme, Donghae, Minhyuk, etc etc.) but one of them is to see Jun Tae Soo. No crush on him, but I love Sungkyunkwan Scandal and I saw acting potential. I think he will do a great job with this character, since he will have some more experience.
As for the rest of the Jalgeum Quartet, I can't wait to see Song Joongki and Yoo AhIn showing off their acting skills in future projects!
Hee. While I was upset and saddened by the incident, and completely understand why they didn't broadcast the episode, I was still a bit disappointed. Monday can't come fast enough.
jong il watches k-dramas! he really likes dae jang geum!^^ swear no kidding... i heard he really likes the actress choi ji woo and he has a dvd box set or something.
Happy Friday everyone. For the sake of my love towards my Hyun Bin bcoz of the Secret Garden hype, I rewatch My Lovely Samsoon last week for a countless time. But everytime I watch it, I just laugh like crazy as if this is the 1st time I watch it. I’ve been thinking how amazing it would be, if at that time JB and GF do the recap for the series and share their thought because to me that drama is an epic.... and Hyun Bin is awesome. I’m kind of glad that Jang Hyuk actually dropped the secret garden project because I can see my Hyun Bin play this kind of role. It fits him 110%. Now i’m considering to watch the world they live in.. just for Hyun Bin.. actually I quit watching the drama after the 1st episode because it doesn’t impress me. So, can anybody pls tell me is it worth watching The world They Live in....
I just finished rewatching "The World They Live In" and I can recommend it very strongly. I read comments that Ep. 1 is draggy, but to me it goes very well. I even think Hyun Bin looks more handsome in "The World" as his face is fuller and thus his dimple is coming out rather well. In "Secret Garden" his cheeks are so sunken. I wonder why he loses his weight for this picture, just to show that he is a neurotic and has insomnia or what? Though I like Hyun Bin very much, for his handsomeness as well as for his acting, JW is proving to be a complete jerk and I'm finding his verbal abuse of RI totally offensive. The poor girl never asks him to become so obsessed with her (this is not love, by the way, just complete obsession with a "strange" creature that has come his way for the first time in his life, who is also oblivious to his charm, wealth, status, etc.), and blaming her for her poverty which she can't help is really too much. If he finds her so beneath him materially, I wonder why he bothers to bother with her at all! Maybe the body (or soul) -swapping will help towards making him more understanding of how the poor live and survive. It's time he climbs down from his ivory tower and experience first hand how the majority of world's people live. Except for her tomboyish clothes, I don't find RI particularly "shabby". And I'm not impressed at all with the richly dressed Seul or his mean, snooty, snobbish mom. So there!
It's got a different pace from the usual KD but that is what makes it worth watching,Okay...Binnie and his scenes. There was a reason they got together after the drama.
Even their BTS was cuter than MNIKSS.And I love MNIKSS as well.
First of all: Hi evryone!!!!!
Hi to my newly-made friends:
Viola
Brookeeve
diadda
Faith
Happy Black Friday and late Thanksgiving if you are American or living in the USA! (I'm neither and it's already nighttime here...)
What has everyone been watching lately? Tests have been keeping me from sleeping properly :(
I have, however, managed to keep my energies in order to stay up-to-date with Mary Stayed Out All Night and Secret Garden. I LOVE SECRET GARDEN. Very good characters and acting, and scenery, and scenarios, and everything. Wimpy rich boy trying to figure out what's going with his being in love? Priceless! I will now go and catch up on Fugitive: Plan B. I'm on episode 15, and while I stick to trendy romantic comedy type dramas (the exception was Baker King Kim Tak Goo- so worth it, by te way) and I am not into action, this drama got better with each episode (actually, Rain's goofy acting hooked me pretty early on anyways), storywise and with character development. Okay, so my video has loaded now.....but I will be back......
Lets be friends too =D
I've been watching Mary stayed out all night and thats pretty much it o-o I'm trying to find another addictive drama XD everything else is on hold. I watched episode 1 of fugitive but, not really interesting so far, so also on-hold xD anyone ideas?
What I love about the holidays is that I get some time to do a drama marathon or two. I'm currently catching up on Flames of Ambition, which is FREAKING INTENSE but I love it! If it continues to be this awesome, I think I'm going to stick it out all the way to 50 episodes. I'm usually the type who can't watch something if it's more than 20 episodes long, but for Flames, I think it's worth it. There's just so much plot that has yet to be covered and it's a drama that takes time to unravel itself. Each character is so fascinating and I just can't get enough of it. I don't know if anybody else is watching it, but it's SO GOOD. It may be a strong contender for one of the most substantial drama. Perhaps it's still too early to tell, since FoA isn't even halfway done, but I'm hoping that I won't have to eat my words later.
I'm also watching Secret Garden and Runaway, with SG being my drama crack for the past two weeks. The music in Runaway always gets my heart racing no matter how many times it I've heard it. I'm actually surprised that I'm enjoying both of these dramas right now. I didn't expect to enjoy SG, since I hated the Lovers series & I had a love-hate relationship with Chuno. It's interesting that sometimes PD and writers may produce a drama that kinda blows me away, in terms of how they change my initial expectations for the show. I like surprises like that. Heh.
Howdy! I'm not a celebrant of Black Friday, but I've been holed up in my house hoping that no mini-vans mistake us for being a store. Soon, I will make a very cautious trip to Wal-Greens for some cold medicine. My family makes all of our holiday gifts, anyway.
I've been thinking about marathoning Snow Queen again. I love this series. I like MSOAN and Secret Garden, and I'll probably watch one of them again.
Hello darling! *hug* :) I did give you a chance to pick your own nickname, but since you didn't respond I am afraid you are stuck with Panda! 'Cause your handle reminds me of them for some weird reasons. teehee. I am watching Secret Garden (madly madly addicted) MSOAN (fun!) and Bad Couple. I hope you get to rest soon and catch of on these dramas. :)
Hi! i don't live in the Netherlands...but if you do, you will probably be able to watch secret garden on viikii. create an account, and they will even have dutch subtitles. (mind you, subbing takes a while, so you have to be patient) here's the link: http://www.viikii.net/channels/goto/secretgarden#
no need to go to spoiler topic...on the videos themselves, move your arrow over the lower area ..the menu appears and you just pick the language you want
oohhhhh viikii is a legal website, they get licence from the companies in order to sub...they are probably in talks with SBS in order to get permission....
have you signed up, though? don't forget to configure your language. make sure you subscribe...and i'm not kidding, on viikii you can find subs in arabic, thai, spanish, french, greek, and just about anything, particularly for popular kdramas
LOL.
As a No Minwoo and Yoo Ah In fan you must have watched My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho and Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I loved both series, and I thought the actors did really well. 26 dollars is a lot...haha I'm so broke....Enjoy ga-ga-ing over your magazine when it arrives...
Happy Friday to my buddies in a later timezone than I am! I just flew in like a few hours ago, surprising the household in the process, who woke up to find a hot jetlagged mess sprawled out on the couch looking darn cute *sarcasm* and tired sh*tless, my brain is so wired I can't sleep. Cranky Much!
Aaaand.. So much for a warm welcome, instead I got scolded by my dad for not waking him up when i got in, "Umm buddy I don't want you passing out from shock in the middle of the night..." and my mum accused me of breaking into the house "No, Mother, I used the friggn spare key, whose 'hiding place' is as embarrassment to the verb 'Hide'"
hmm but then again, what was I expecting? A Fiesta? Well one wouldn't hurt.. Lol
No Black Friday for me...even bored out of my mind I dont want to wait through the night to get into a store or be there when it opens at 3am!!
Especially since my sisters are all out of town...no fun!
and it's cold as all get out here in 'sunny' So. California.
I am really enjoying Secret Garden...I am really enjoying looking at Phillip Lee too! I must say the four male characters are all so handsome...
The push up scene made me all smiley and mushy!
MSOAN is fun too, can't wait to see what they do next.
Everyone have a great week end..and for all of you in S. Korea I am keeping you all in my prayers and yes Mr. Man should watch a few dramas and get some happy feel good..
Secret Garden is one of the few shows I'm rewatching with subs.. Raw, then JB's recaps, then raw again, then subs when they come out.. I'm a total addict.
Mom caught me watching the episode 4 raw in the kitchen one day and totally got sucked in, even though she doesn't speak a word of Korean and I had to translate and explain things for her. She liked it so much that when I was getting ready to watch the second episode with subs the other day, she came in to watch it with me. It's been a long time since my mom and I have been able to watch a drama together (the last one was Kimi wa Petto, and I was in high school), so it's nice. :)

lol this is so true (well most of the them) I can't believe that I will addict to K-Drama so badly. TGIF everyone and Happy Black Friday to all the fellows in US. Weekend is here = Secret Garden is coming...hurray hurray...I joined couple Kdrama/news blog/chat group bcos' of SG. And I think I start seeing imagination Binne during the day...lol I am going crazy...
I guess I'm addicted to Korean dramas as I've stopped watching American movies and soap operas some two years ago and of late, I've been thinking of getting myself a Samsung cellphone.
Happy belated thanksgiving and Black Friday!!....yes Secret Garden is totally rocking my drama world right now.....i like MSOAN too but the only gripping thing in there seems to be the cute and Kim Jae Wook, I wish they'd up the drama in the drama a bit more....another something that caught my eye this week and wanted to share with all the VOICE lovers here on DB.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJNAYZVLWEk
isnt that the cutest little dance??.....and by the Voice too
HELP ME PLEASE!
I love Fugitive:Plan B and its OST so much that I have all 17 tracks. However, I was wondering if anyone knew the name to a particular song that isn't on the soundtrack. It's instrumental, arab-sounding, and it plays at the serious parts when the bad guys are discussing plots and schemes.
Check out this link and listen to it, and help me out please (Episode 16 part 1 at around 9:30) http://www.dramacrazy.net/korean-drama/runaway-plan-b-episode-16/
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hm...there was something I've been waiting all week to come on here and explode all over the open thread...
and now it's gone. figures. :-p
Anyhow, loving Secret Garden and Mary, along with the rest of you! I also started watching Coffee House, which is good so far. I love me some Kang Ji Hwan! :D
Recovering from Turkey day. Had a great time with family and friends. I love having Thanksgiving at my house each year :D I always miss Black Friday because I'm too tired from the clean up and I eat all the stuff I'm not supposed to on Thanksgiving ( wheat, dairy and eggs)and suffer a nasty food hangover the next day, but, that is not going to stop me from eating all the yummy leftovers today (thank God for Benadryl):P I have successfully kicked my husband and son out of the house and told them not to return until they have a big screen TV. (Secret Garden is big screen worthy) Can't wait till they get back. Just thinking about all the Korean Dramas I can watch on a 55'' flat panel screen is making me all giddy inside :P (The TV I have right now is 18 years old and needs three people just to move it) :P
Done Black Friday shopping. Only got 4 hours of sleep. Didn't get anything special, sadly, but did get a coupon for a store so I can go back and get that sweater I was unsure about. Exhausted. Off to eat and watch Secret Garden. I miss MSOAN. Have to study hard for a test in two weeks so will need to visit this site less. Bummer. My brain is functioning at 1 bit/second. I'll stop now. Happy Friday/weekend/thanksgiving!
Happy Black Friday to all here in the States, an Happy Friday if you are outside the States!!!!
I am in a reflecting "mood", I have just ended a 16 year old relationship that I had with a female friend, in the past 3 years I became some how her "Surrogate Husband/Father" and this kind of dynamics as most people know are very "Codependent", so finally after a "mild fight", it finally sink on me how bad this relationship was becoming, so as the grown up in the relationship I decided to call it quits.
I cannot blame her since I am responsible for becoming her "Enabler", I am not blaming myself or being self deprecating, but I think at 48 years of age I am still young enough to reset my life's priorities, and to pursue healthier relationships for the sake of my mental health, all I can do is to count my losses and move on, and relinquish her to the hands of providence.
I am tired of playing "Someones Savior" I can hardly change myself let alone another human being I have my own Daughter, so being a father figure to some once else it can be a good thing but not in the case when the other person has serious issues that need to be resolve concerning her real father, also the dynamic that the "prosthetic husband" creates is quite unnerving, since while you can share the "Physical, Mental, Spiritual" dynamic of marriage, the real commitment is never there and at the end it leaves you with the feeling that "I am being used".
Like I said I will not blame her for the failure of this relationship since I also contribute to turn this relationship into a "Codependent one", I just finally grew tired and realize the I do not need this kind or relationship in my life!!!!!
As the old proverb as the old proverb says; "After the night there is always a brand new day".
P.S. My love to all you people and if you are in a bad relationship, please consider hard whether is really worthy to loose your mental health for the sake of having a relationship, in my case I do not think it is worthy!!!!!!!
: O }
I hope that you are doing well and that you have confidence to know that you have made the correct decision! Remember you are raising a very important member of the Mohawk, and that she is watching you make decisions and will emulate them in the future. Teach her to be a strong woman, and your job in life will be considered successful. You are completely awesome!
How the "Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA) may effect Drama lovers in the future. The right balance between what the law says concerning copyright laws may be brewing some trouble for all those people that at one point or another have share or receive any type of copyright material "without proper permit".
I know that in the past "The Corporate world and the Government" have been trying to become more serious about this trend since the inception of the Internet, and the "Napster" case for those who are old enough to remember, but it seems that they are getting closer to achieve their aim, IMHO I hope they do not succeed.
Hopefully whatever the outcome it will take awhile before effects the "International Drama Loving
Family".
i'm watching MSOAN and adoring it to bits, i decided to wait for all of secret garden, i want to binge later, and everyone's hysteria is killing me! guhh. hot awesome OTP is hot; and this i get from the trailers/pictures!
i'm also addicted to the vampire diaries, whyyy they keep throwing these 2 week breaks in there i do not know but it is making me sad. such a surprisingly brilliant show, fantastic, fantastic writing. <3
i wonder if anyone here watched indian weekdaily sitcoms... ? or koffee with karan? anyone?
woah, someone else watches vampire diaries apart from me! i have to ask you what side youre on: stefan or damon? personally i love damon (although recently ive seen the appeal in stefan too, but damon will remain numbe one - liked him ever since i saw the guy who plays him in lost)
---
i know im annoyed too that no episodes are being shown X-X. by the way what do you think of this season? i think its so much better then season 1 - the plot's so much juicer.
OMG!! Used to be completely obsessed with Indian soaps. Of course before I found K-dramas. I'm aware that K-drama gets its fair share of criticism but trust me it doesn't insult your intelligence as much as Indian soaps do. As for Koffee with Karan, find it completely insufferable. All those stars coming out in their top-of-the line haute couture and the whole atmsphere is generally just too smug. Much prefer Farhan Aktar's talk show. Sorry for the rant. I do really like what I have seen of Vampire Diaries though. I'm a Stephan girl all the way. I'm so over the tortured, misunderstood, bad boy thing.
I'm so engrossed with "Secret Garden", though I take issue with JW's jerkiness, that I don't even go out shopping on Black Friday. As soon as I get up, I check soompi and vikikii's SG spoiler sections, and my husband is thoroughly fed up with me because I've become a Korean d-addict. I started watching Korean dramas when I went home to Burma for a long vacation. There, I found the whole country fixated with Korean soaps that no visitors are welcomed when the weekly soaps come on at 7 p.m. on TV. I was interested only in period dramas, but my cousin, a professor of anatomy, no less, persuaded me to take a look at modern dramas too, and I got totally hooked though of course the subtitles in my own language, Burmese, are not so reliable. When I came back to US, I brought about 100 DVDs to while away my time. But once I found out I can view Asian dramas online, that's what I've been doing with my time, glued to the laptop. I wish I had attended Korean language schools while I was in my country, where it's all a rage to learn Korean. Now, I depend on the kind souls who do the recaps with hilarious asides, and on viikii sub teams. I've always been interested in Korean history, but after seeing Jewel in the Palace and Yi San, I'm become more interested. Any Korean history websites in English which I can visit to broaden my knowledge?
I just finished watching Tamra, The Island and a clip out of Hong Gil Dong and I just wanna say....Im Joo Hwan and Jang Geun Suk could have been fraternal twins separated at birth or brothers separated at birth. Seriously...whats's with the similarities?!
After I finished watching ep. 16 of the cut version of Tamra, I just had to buy the DVDs. I felt so incomplete. Haha. I went and splurged on the set on Amazon. *hides under blankets* Curse you, Drama Addiction!
I hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and indulged yourself with food and drink like it was a Roman bacchanal. But alas, all revelries must end sometime and we must wake up, bleary eyed, from our food induced comas and creep on shamed feet to the bathroom scale.
But this season you don't have to drink anymore from the bitter cup of regret about eating the last slice of triple chocolate cake, because.......1-800-HotSpotters are here! :)
Even if you are a dedicated couch potato like me, or like my dear aunt Diadda, who thinks: "Diet is a four letter word that starts off with the word "die" and exercise is what you do to bad spirits that you need to have go away;" with the help of our patent pending HotSpotters system, I guarantee that you will be motivated do your workout .
Because we literally give you a Hot Asian actor/actress of your choice to spot you! Think of how fun it would be to do situps if Binnie was the one holding your legs?
So, this holiday season give yourself the gift of a HotSpotter and indulge yourself in as much food as you want, safe in the knowledge that you will exercise all of it iff. And if you choose to indulge yourself with your spotter, well...... I am assured by my aunt that it also counts as exercise. ;)
Standard disclaimers apply. Offer does not include Siwon, Daesung, KJH, Bae So Bin, No Min Woo, Top, Rain, Lee Jung Jae, Henny, Hyori, Eun Hye, Eric, Kang Ji Hwan and Lee Seung Gi. :)
LOL Mine is on backorder (Bae So Bin). I'm waiting for him to show up any day now :P Viola, you do realize you will be sued by 24 Hour Fitness for putting them out of business.
Don't forget for the premium membership you can get an Oppa fresh out of the Army. Then you will be subjected to real boot camp exercises. I guarantee that there will not be a single complaint from any of your customers. They will all be speechless and breathless after the vigorous workout ( for eyes and bodies) Tee Hee
By now our OT family should be millionaires :D
one Yoo Ah-in please and one Lee Minho please! I'm hatching a plan to get an iPad for Christmas so that I can watch my k-dramas on the treadmill. I don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a try!
I forgot Thanksgiving... after living all my life and only living in Mexico for 2 years... I forgot it... However, never fear, I was reminded of it by my family who called me at like 2 in the 'ffin morning to scold me about not contacting them to say "Happy Thanksgiving!" I think they forgot themselves and only remembered at that time and had to call just to bug me... or they are just really sick and waited until it was really late to bug me since I'm two hours ahead of them... either way I still love them... hahaha... they're crazy folks and we stayed talking for three hours... until I had to leave to get dressed for early morning classes at the university hospital... I had panda eyes all day today thanks to them @___@
Yeah, I'm in California too and my East coast family tends to forget the time difference. I also got a call from my aunt in England at 1 in the morning. She forgot that I'm 8 hours behind her and not ahead of her. I was sound asleep before the phone rang, but I told her that I had not gone to bed yet, so she would not feel bad :P
We must not forget the most important thing! They call us because the love us and miss us! :D
bro,
Saengchori 4:
Disclaimer: generally hate the word LOL and other acronyms like ROFL, LMAO etc.
But this episode made me ROFLFMAOLOL.
Oh the cop, he's so cool... The Chuno theme tune with the little old lady running with cleavers, and every. single. scene with Jo bujang-nim. Oh and the forthcoming Paranormal Activity parodies should make things even more crazier. Moar crazy, marreya.
That's fabulous! Although... I got to say that Cherokee typically hunted bear, wolf, and deer and not so much with the buffalo as that was more of a plains type of activity... and the hoop dance is definitely a South Western activity, so don't consider that Cherokee either. Thank you so much for thinking of me, that is some beautiful artwork!
most of the things on my xmas list this year consist of K-dramas. The only non korean thing on it is cloudy with a chance of meatballs, socks(to keep my feet warm while watching them:)), and earrings. My mom was like "I'm not getting her any of this chino stuff. Why does she even want it?" *sigh* oh mother, you will never know how much joy and heart wrenching moments k-dramas put me through. does anyone Else's mother do this?
p.s. WHERE CAN I WATCH SECRET GARDEN AND MARRY STAYED OUT ALL NIGHT? I wanna watch them so badly!
Excuse me, can someone please explain to me the following:
(1) Is ajuhma equivalent to Madam or auntie in polite English?
(2) When do you address a woman an ajuhma?
(3) Do you address a woman/lady above 30 year-old an ajuhma?
I was scolded left, right and centre by addressing someone who is in her mid 30s as ajuhma!!
oh dear! While your definition of ahjumma is technically right, NO woman wants to be thought of as an ajumma! I believe is carries all sorts of connotation of being over the hill. Off course I am not Korean, so take my pronouncement with a grain of salt but I guess she was offended to be thought to be a woman of a certain age? ;) I think noona or unnie is more flattering to the female ego. :)
Ahjumma is loosely 'madam', but nowadays used to address middle-aged women (read batty aunties) aged 50+. But even then to play it safe, unless she has grey hair you may want to avoid that term and instead maybe use the more flattering term 'ahgasshi'? Which is 'miss'.
Yeah, women, we're complicated.

Is it wrong of me to want to watch It's Okay, Daddy's Girl just to see Ha In Soo be evil in modern clothes? He sells it pretty well, minus the bug eyes.

So there!

Heh.

oohhhhh viikii is a legal website, they get licence from the companies in order to sub...they are probably in talks with SBS in order to get permission....
have you signed up, though? don't forget to configure your language. make sure you subscribe...and i'm not kidding, on viikii you can find subs in arabic, thai, spanish, french, greek, and just about anything, particularly for popular kdramas

Waiting excitedly for my December issue of Esquire.
No Minwoo's photoshoot looks sick awesome. His best one by far.
And YAI's photoshoot as an added bonus doesn't hurt too.
Though the $26 shipping charge does hurt.

*Food for thought*
Family".

i know im annoyed too that no episodes are being shown X-X. by the way what do you think of this season? i think its so much better then season 1 - the plot's so much juicer.

Hope I'm not the only one...

woah, I was just thinking that today after reading the recaps for Tamra. They look especially similar when they smile.

Yay! I'm not the only one! XD
I know, right? It's uncanny.

Don't forget for the premium membership you can get an Oppa fresh out of the Army. Then you will be subjected to real boot camp exercises. I guarantee that there will not be a single complaint from any of your customers. They will all be speechless and breathless after the vigorous workout ( for eyes and bodies) Tee Hee

one Yoo Ah-in please and one Lee Minho please!

(Here is some hoop dancing for those that are interested.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMhVNATE8Sg&feature=related

most of the things on my xmas list this year consist of K-dramas.

Thank you!!

November 27, 2010 at 3:04 PM

November 27, 2010 at 5:08 PM
Ahjumma is loosely 'madam', but nowadays used to address middle-aged women (read batty aunties) aged 50+. But even then to play it safe, unless she has grey hair you may want to avoid that term and instead maybe use the more flattering term 'ahgasshi'? Which is 'miss'.
Yeah, women, we're complicated.
