MBC’s My Princess has released a Christmas message video (watch below), which features the leads — Kim Tae-hee and Song Seung-heon — and is basically a collection of behind-the-scenes clips from the set. (Ryu Soo-young and Park Ye-jin also star as second leads.)
With the drama just a week and a half from its premiere, the crew will be busy working through the holidays, which I actually think might be fun given a close-knit shooting atmosphere. I’ve commented about the drama’s potential and premise a number of times so I’ll spare you yet another rehash, so let’s just say that I really HOPE this will be a sweet, funny fantasy romance to kick off the new year on the right foot.
(Barring that, if it must be bad, I hope it’s really bad, so that we’re entertained either way. It’s the boring ones that kill me.)

Is it just me or does Song Seung-heon really look like Wu Chun in the second picture? Wait wrong country.
not just you! Wu Chun reminds me of a taiwanese SSH and SSH reminds me of a korean Wu Chun- almost right down to the acting (though SSH is better). Doesn’t help that Wu Chun also did a drama with a poor girl who suddenly finds out she’s like the heiress of some huge ridiculously rich and prestigious family (my gosh that drama was a mess. the only good thing abt it was the great opening song and all the eye candy).
Yeah agree with you….Romantic Princess was a mess from start to finish….so disappointing! I looked forward to it so much.

Sheesh, what an insult to SSH’s acting, at the least he’s better than Wu Chun. Cause Wu Chun sucks. (Yeah, i had my times of swooning over Wu Chun).

I wasn’t going to watch this but since I’m on vacation… Might as well give my brain a break and watch something with a straightforward plot (well, straightforward for a korean drama) and some pretty faces.
Alright, I hate myself, but I gotta say I’m strangely looking forward to this the closer it gets to premiere date. It doesn’t help that Park Yejin looks so fucking amazing too!
The behind the scene clips show more posing for the camera.Hopefully this is not indicative of the drama-that it is more about looks than substance. I can’t get excited about this drama, mainly I am not a fan of the leads past acting

I have hope for this drama and think that it could actually end up being pretty decent. Yes the leads aren’t the strongest of actors but up to this point they have both played mostly serious roles where acting deficiencies stand out like a sore thumb. I think since this is a rom-com they might actually do pretty well given that they don’t overact and they have chemistry.
I’m looking forward to this drama….last drama was SKKS and I’m so in the mood for another one. Hopefully, it’ll be a good one.

i’m seriously hoping that SSH gives a much more carefree, charismatic performance in this drama. All his past works are so dramatic it drives me crazy. I think he’d do a lot better just being cute and I hope this drama is pure fluff and fun!
The two leads are soooo beautiful and they look as though theyve been cut from the same mould. They are both tall, thin and dark. They look a perfect fit. I hope this drama will be good. I hope they can act.

I’m not too worried about this show. If I learnt anything this year, it’s that it takes a lot more than bad actors to ruin a drama. Take MSOAN and Cinderella Sister for example: exceptional cast, but still very bad dramas. You’re Beautiful proves the converse: awkward acting (oscillating between over the top and underwhelming) but still all around an enjoyable show.
Good directing, good story-line, good dialogue–those can bring out the best in any actor/actress, good or bad.
Song Seung Heon, you really have a very handsome unique looks, your thick dark eyebrows and attractive eyes gives you the most greatest charm, to be so manly, tall in height, charismatic, dressing and walking with elegant style. An actor who is so brialliant and multi-talented always love and bless by the worldwide millions and millions surrroundings fans will give you the greatest support!!!!!!
