As announced last week, a special Secret Garden was held on the night of the drama’s penultimate broadcast, January 15, and here are some photos from the event.
The OST concert featured performances by the artists on the soundtrack, and tickets reportedly sold out within five minutes of going on sale. The cast members present were Hyun Bin and Yoon Sang-hyun, both of whom had songs to sing from the soundtrack, while Kim Sung-oh, who plays the hilariously passive-aggressive Secretary Kim, acted as MC for the night.
In addition to the music, the night featured a Q&A segment where Hyun Bin answered questions, such as his upcoming military service plans. He played down his decision to apply for the Marines, saying, “It’s not something deserving praise or interest from others. I’m just acting according to thoughts I’ve had for a while.” He also admitted to feeling quite a lot of pressure in recording a track for the OST (“That Man”).
The other artists who took the stage were (in order of photo appearance below): OST queen Baek Ji-young, BeBe Mignon, and 4Men. Mi, BOIS and Yoo Ah-ri are not pictured.

On a more serious side, props on Binnie for been very down to earth about his decision to join the marines, in a way it kind of sounded to me, taht he was saying “”all other korean man have to serve in some area of the military why is there such a fuss when a celebrity goes?”" well I hope the last episode delivers…. but in way I’m sort of ready for the disappointed

The 20th ep is such a disappointed (to me), it’s not as special as it to be said. I wait and wait for something special but JW is not like OUR JW here and I want more cuteness from kids; moreover, I don’t remember any kid to call JW ”appa” once.

Maybe it’s because of me watching it raw (understand very little).
I used the word “disappoint” with the meaning that I waited for something different from spoilers (from spoilers I knew that they marry then have 3 kids, the last scene comes from the past – which I guess it is in the hospital right afer JW’s accident, especially the concert, I read tons of news and pics about it and tonight, it lasts for ~ 5 mins). ke ke I expected for a better bed scene but it turns out to be (yep) sweet but so innocent. ^^
In general I DO like the drama and I’ll miss it.
The conversations for ep 20 was so meaningful.It was wonderful.
Unfortunately the no 1 trending topic now is from the concert.A big boo boo the director giving instructions in the background was not edited out.
Thank you, I’m waiting for sub. Writter Kim always bring us meaningful lines. once again her drama ends at the past scene (like City hall) which really makes me believe in FATE.
The kids call him appa/daddy. The scene where the boy wants his mom (Ra-Im) to sleep next to him and JW is trying to take her to his bed, the boy says, “Mom, I hate daddy.”
But episode 20 was a disappointment. I agree with you on that. It was just blah for me. The Oska concert scene was way too long. For whose benefit?
The kid talked to RI, not to JW. I really want kids to call him daddy/talk to him directly (that can build a stronger father and son connection).

Didn’t realize that YSH had gotten so thin. i’m actually glad the drama is over now so everyone can rest! I bet Hyun-bin must be secretly glad to go off into military service so he can get at least 6-7 hours of sleep a night. No wonder actors come back looking so good after military service.
episode 20: could really tell that the writer was tired. It’s like squeezing out the last 2 paragraphs of a long paper that you’ve spent all night doing. You’ve got some substantial sentences surrounded by fluff in order to reach the page limit. Even less story than rest of the episodes, imo, but lots of fanservice!

Try ihoneyjoo. Just google the site. It has OSTs galore (for almost every drama I’ve come across…that I bothered to download OSTs for anyway).
Also good for most Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean).
OSKA!!!!!! Hyun-bin is handsome, but Yoon Sang-hyun makes me giddy and puts a smile to my face. It’s cute to see both Joo-won and Oska sporting the crazy tracksuits!
I really, really hope Yoon Sang-hyun picks another good drama and doesn’t pick some weird or bad project. The man has had enough ups and downs in his life!
The best ending EVER! there was no mistakes in episode 20, I have never seen such a great ending in a drama in all my 7 years of watching and it would take a lifetime to see it again. I can’t put it into words how brilliant the ending of this good drama was. I did read a review on Soul Rebel blog that described my exact thought of the ending of this drama, it was written beautifully and conveyed every small detail that it left me breathless.
It’s hard to read comments finding fault with the way it ended, where in reality they climb over, broke through and torn down the normal 10 minutes of happiness that most drama give at the end. Kudos to the Director and 10 knee bows to the screenwriter!
I’m a great fan of the drama, and hate to disagree about the perfection of the last episode, but as much as I love it, objectively…the concert scene in the last episode was frustrating. Especially when you can hear the director’s bits in it – that was soooo not cool. I kept thinking it was a problem with my earphones, but yeah, it wasn’t.
That said and done, SG was a great drama. It had its loopholes, but those aren’t anything to hold against its innate awesomeness.
Loved the drama. The actors were delightful. I do believe this is one I would like to have in my private collection.

Doesn’t having the concert at the same time the penultimate ep is airing detrimental if you need the viewing numbers? They should of had it when another drama was airing…
