Park Bo-young turns horror queen

Park Bo-young is back with a new movie — finally! I know it was announced last year that her next project would be She’s Looking At Me [그녀가 날봐요], and it appears that movie is still on, but this one will be filming right away.
The project is a horror movie called Unidentified Video, which is the actual title, not a placeholder description. In it, two sisters who encounter a strange video are drawn into a series of mysterious events. I’m going to assume there’s a lot more to the premise than that, since Ringu was not only a hit in Korea, but remade into a Korean version as well. And while I don’t want to overstate Park Bo-young’s talent and/or stature in the industry, I’m skeptical that she’d take on a fluff horror piece as her big comeback after a three-year absence (due to legal and management conflicts), so I suspect there’s more meat to this. Or, at least I hope that’s the case.
Park will fight to save her younger sister, who’ll be played by Kang Byul, a new actress who made a strong impression in last year’s sageuk Kim Suro. She played the king’s childhood sweetheart Ah-hyo, and (by the accounts I read) nearly stole the romantic-interest storyline away from Seo Ji-hye.
Another rising star in the cast is Joo-won, who made his name known as Tak-gu’s rival Ma-jun in last year’s hit drama Baker King Kim Tak-gu, who’ll play Park Bo-young’s boyfriend.
The director is Kim Tae-kyung of horror flicks My Dead Friend (starring Kim Haneul) and Muoi (with Jo Ahn and Cha Ye-ryun), so he’s probably an appropriate pick.
Unidentified Video begins filming at the end of February, in time to release as part of the summer horror season.

Wow, Kang Byul is very pretty. I enjoyed watching her in Kim Suro. Hopes she gets a part as the main lead soon. ;)

LOL yea she was. i'm thinking she either matured or she was just acting for the show.
i really liked her in Creating Destiny and i've liked Joo Won since Baker King, and of course, i like Park Boyoung too, so i'm anticipating this :D

almost more than a year on I am now a complete Joo Won fan, hence why I came across this again. After ojakgyo brothers hes won me over completely and is now side by side with kang dong won as my favourite K actors. And omg was I blind, Joo Won is HOT

Yay, Park bo young in another movie, must be making up for her long absence. Honestly, I hope it's good and PBY is not doing i just to do more movies, she should do movies that'll bring out great acting, anyways i'm wondering if anyone has any news on her movie, She's looking at Me? Omgsh, I adore Kang Byul from Creating Destiny and I think Joo Won can actually act even if Baker King was so melodramatic (yet addicting!)
I'm so glad to hear that Kang Byul received praise for her role in Kim Suro! I wanted to see it for her but I didn't want to commit to a show that wasn't too appealing. And she wasn't even the lead in the drama. But now I'm interested that her storyline was responded well with than the female lead's.
Has anyone watched Kim Suro? Should I try it?

I never heard of this actress before, but she looked a bit meatier than the usual toothpick actresses, in a good way. However, when I looked up her weight online it listed 41kg. How is it possible that this woman is only 90 pounds? That's gotta to be a stretch of the imagination, right?

I just finish speedy scandal and its soooo good!!! I only watch drama never really watch korean movie but i somehow landed on this on you tube and decided to try it out and I was pleasantly surprise how much I enjoy it!!! Any more good korean movie out there please recommend!!
